🌟 That’s a wrap for NSTW 2025! 🌟

The College of Science Lecture Series Committee proudly concludes this year’s National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) 2025 at UP Baguio! 🎉

From the insightful opening lecture of Dr. Jaime Cañedo, to the inspiring talks of two world-renowned experts, Dr. Raelene Crandall and Dr. Jennifer Fill in the World Expert Lecture Series, along with the informative lectures of our very own Dr. Zenaida Baoanan and Engineer Editha Mejia of the Camp John Hay Management Corporation, the innovative project presentation of Mr. Clarence Kyle Pagunsan and Mr. Lance Sacdalan, the Org Exhibits of various CS Organizations and classes, and the exciting Physical Science Camp — the last two weeks were a true celebration of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in science! 🔬💡🌍

A huge thank you to all our speakers, organizers, participants, and partners who made this celebration of Science for the People possible. 💚

The Physical Science Camp 2025 has successfully concluded, marked by engaging scientific activities, collaborative learning, and meaningful interactions among participants.

The Department of Physical Sciences extends its gratitude to all students who took part in the event and contributed to its successful implementation in celebration of the National Science and Technology Week 2025.

We also express our sincere appreciation to the College of Science Lecture Series Committee, as well as the faculty members and staff of the Department of Physical Sciences, for their invaluable support and dedicated efforts throughout the preparation and ex*****on of this activity.

As part of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) 2025 celebration, the College of Science Lecture Series Committee invites everyone to visit the Org Exhibit of various CS student organizations and CS Classes happening now at the KA Quad! 🎉

Make sure to drop by and check out all the booths! The exhibit runs only until Friday, so don’t miss this showcase of creativity, innovation, and scientific passion from our CS student orgs. 🌎🔬💡

The College of Science Lecture Series Committee proudly congratulates Mr. Lance Sacdalan and Mr. Clarence Kyle Pagunsan, BS Computer Science students, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Ashlyn Kim Balangcod, Asst Prof. Criselda Libatique, and Ms. Mary Chezka Ann Sinco of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, for their successful project presentation titled “Baguio MNM (Maternal Health and Nutrition Monitoring) System”, held today at Sarmiento Hall in celebration of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) 2025.

Your work exemplifies how innovation and compassion can come together to address real-world challenges. By developing a system aimed at strengthening maternal health and nutrition monitoring in Baguio City, your project highlights the vital role of science and technology in improving community well-being.
