This scholarship opportunity has extended its submission deadline from August 15, 2026, to August 30, 2026.

Beta Gamma Phi (BGP) Scholarship & Dr. Patrick and Meliza Gonzales Foundation (DPMGF) Scholarship Program (Under the auspices of Beta Gamma Phi).

The Beta Gamma Phi (BGP) Scholarship and the Dr. Patrick and Meliza Gonzales Foundation (DPMGF) Scholarship are now open for applications for Academic Year 2026–2027.

QUALIFICATIONS: The scholarship grant is open to incoming Sophomores for AY 2026–2027 (students with 2025- # # student numbers) who meet the following qualifications:
Must have an assigned SLAS Online tuition discount of:

Partial Discount (PD) 80%, Full Discount (FD), or and have an annual total family income of not more than ₱300,000.00.

Must have obtained a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.75 or better in both the first and second semesters of AY 2025–2026.

Must have no grade of 5.0, and no unremoved 4.0 or INC in the semester immediately preceding the application.

Must be enrolled in any four-year degree program.

NUMBER OF SLOTS: 15 scholarship slots available

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITSStipend: ₱20,000.00 per semester
Book Allowance: ₱5,000.00 per semester

Call for SAGA Slot Requests for First Semester AY 2026–2027
Each office or unit may request one (1) SAGA slot, equivalent to 120 hours per month. For complete details, please refer to the Revised SAGA Guidelines and the SAGA Manual.
May we request all UPB offices and units to indicate their need for SAGA (if any) for the 1st Semester AY 2026-2027 through this form: :https://forms.gle/MzxykJQgUhnVjQyG6 our not later than 17 August 2026, 11:59 pm.
This survey however, cannot guarantee approval of all requests pending approval from Budget Officer and Chancellor.
