The program began with a prayer led by one of the faculty members who was also a recipient of the previous GSIS donation. ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐จ๐ฌ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ขรฑ๐จ warmly welcomed the guests and shared the brief history of the school, including its location within the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) reservation and the schoolโs continuing anticipation of its future relocation. She expressed gratitude for GSIS's generosity, emphasizing how the donations have helped improve the learning environment. She also proudly shared that Fort del Pilar Elementary School emerged as one of the best-performing schools in Khan Academy. Because of this achievement, the school received tablets from its partners, further strengthening the learners' access to digital learning.
During his message, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐จ "๐๐ข๐๐ค" ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐จ inspired the learners by sharing two stories of individuals he personally knew who succeeded through perseverance, determination, and hard work. He emphasized that a personโs future is not defined by poverty but by the effort, courage, and commitment to pursue dreams. He encouraged learners to maximize available opportunities and facilities, continue striving for excellence, and work hard to become successful individuals.
๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ representative ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐จ-๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐ณ highlighted the importance of partnerships through the Adopt-a-School Program and shared DepEd Cordillera initiatives. She emphasized that through collaboration and collective effort, stakeholders can help achieve the dreams of every Filipino child, saying, โTulong-tulong para makamit ang pangarap ng bawat batang Pilipino.โ

๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐จ, ๐๐ก๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐ expressed her gratitude to GSIS for choosing Fort del Pilar Elementary School as a beneficiary. She highlighted the importance of digital literacy and the need for schools to continuously adapt to the fast-changing world of technology. She also recognized the importance of partnerships in supporting not only academic development but also learnersโ socio-emotional growth.
A touching testimony was shared by ๐๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐จ, one of the teacher-recipients of the Smart TV donated by GSIS in 2019. She shared that receiving the Smart TV made her feel like a child receiving a precious gift. She expressed how it has become an invaluable teaching tool, making her lessons more interactive and engaging for her learners. She also emphasized that, despite being in a highly urbanized city, not all learners have access to digital devices at home. The Smart TV has therefore become a blessing not only to her as a teacher but also to her learners, providing them with meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.

๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ challenged the GSIS officials to extend their support by providing more Smart TVs. President Veloso immediately responded and generously pledged two additional Smart TVs for the school, bringing joy and appreciation from the learners and teachers.
The activity ended with the turnover of two printers and three sets of first aid kits, further strengthening the schoolโs resources.
The GSIS Monitoring Activity became more than a visit, it was a celebration of partnership, generosity, and commitment to providing better opportunities for learners. Through the continued support of GSIS and the guidance of education leaders and stakeholders, Fort del Pilar Elementary School remains inspired to nurture learners who are ready to face the future with confidence and determination.
