The Body We Borrow

Wake up and thank the lungs that breathe,
The heart that drums beneath.
Not gold, not fame, not things we keep โ€”
But health, the promise that we reap.

A glass of water, morning light,
A walk that sets the mind to right.
Vegetables, sleep, and time to rest โ€”
Small choices that become the best.

We chase so much and often forget
The one machine we canโ€™t reset.
No app, no pill, no shortcut key
Can buy the strength to simply be.

So stretch, so move, so laugh, so fuel.
Treat your body kind and true.

Slogan and Poster Making Contest Showcases
ALSI Learners Creativity - Nutrition Month

The Alternative Learning School Inc. successfully held its Slogan and Poster Making contest, bringing together talented learners to express their creativity through art and meaningful messages. The event encouraged participants to create original works that reflected the assigned theme while promoting awareness and positive values.

Students demonstrated their artistic skills, critical thinking, and passion as they carefully designed eye-catching posters and inspiring slogans. Teachers and judges praised the participants for their creativity, originality and dedication throughout the competition. The contest highlighted the importance of using art as a powerful way to communicate ideas and inspire positive changes.

The activity ended with the recognition of outstanding entries, but every participant was commended for their effort and enthusiasm. The event served as a reminder that ALSI learners possess meaningful impact through creativity and self expression.
