Bago City College Guidance Center provides avenue for students to discover themselves, grow personally, and develop socially while striving for excellence. It offers services that assist every learner in the realization of their personality and the attainment of goals in life. MISSION

The Bago City College Guidance Center aims to:

> cater every students’ need by implementing programs/services

that are relevant and meaningful;
> deliver effective support system through the collaborative partnership with internal and external stakeholders;
> promote a culture of acceptance and teamwork developing their self-esteem and interpersonal relationship skills;
> motivate every student to maximize skills and potentials for the betterment of their future; and
> produce professionals with pleasing personality, globally competitive, and God-fearing. VISION

The Bago City College Guidance Center envisions to produce holistically developed individual through the implementation of different guidance services which will cater every student’s needs. It aims to maximize tools necessary to help students reach their full potentials and be equipped with skills needed to face the real world. THE GUIDANCE SERVICES

A. INFORMATION SERVICE
Aims to provide information about the school that are necessary for internal and external stakeholders to acquire. This will help the students in adjusting to a new environment and for parents to support their children during this process. INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY SERVICE
Utilizes students’ data for the purpose of assisting them. It ensures that cumulative record folders of the students are maintained, updated and secured in a safe place. It includes personal data forms and results of psychological tests taken among others. COUNSELING SERVICE
A venue where students can discuss their thoughts, feelings and concerns to understand themselves better. It is an opportunity for free expression treated with confidentiality and acceptance between the counselor and the counselee. Counseling includes personal, career/vocational, crisis intervention and academic counseling which can be done individually or in groups. PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
Conducts and administers tests to determine students’ needs, aptitudes, interests and performances. Test results and interpretation are used to assess academic growth and personal development of the students. CAREER AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICE
Assists students to have a better perspective of their chosen course and help them formulate a plan of action for career advancement and provide job opportunities and referrals where students will be able to maximize their abilities and potentials by tapping the internal and external stakeholders. FOLLOW-UP AND REFERRAL SERVICE
Concerns with what happens to the student while in school and what happened after they left the school. It is undertaken to ensure progress of students and to monitor if the student landed a job or is struggling from finding one. It also determines whether assistance of expert is needed for a specific counselee and if reaching out to the external stakeholder is necessary to provide job opportunities. PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
