The Kindergarten Reading post-assessment was conducted to measure the learners’ progress in foundational literacy skills such as letter recognition, phonemic awareness, decoding simple words, and basic comprehension. This assessment serves as a tool to evaluate the effectiveness of the reading instruction implemented throughout the quarter. The data gathered provide clear evidence of learners’ strengths and areas that require further reinforcement. Through this process, teachers are guided in planning targeted interventions and differentiated activities to support struggling readers while continuing to challenge those who demonstrate readiness for more advanced tasks. Ultimately, the post-assessment reflects the school’s commitment to continuous monitoring, data-driven instruction, and the holistic development of early literacy skills among Kindergarten learners.

Today marks another meaningful step in strengthening our school’s Reading Program. Our Public Schools District Superior Ma'am Estrella D. Dimaya, Ph.D together with the School Heads of Annayatan ES Ma'am Emely Luis and Taytay ES Ma'am Imelda Ragualconducted the validation of RMA and CRLA. This process is more than complianceβ€”it is our commitment to ensuring that every learner receives quality reading instruction and the support they truly need.

Through RMA and CRLA, we carefully assess our learners’ reading abilities, identify gaps, and design appropriate interventions to help them grow in fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Validation allows us to reflect, improve, and align our strategies with our goal of building independent and lifelong readers.
