Some lessons come with standards to meet, while others come through the opportunities given along the way. 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙎𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙋𝙖𝙟𝙤 brings structure into the classroom while creating moments where students can learn, participate, and enjoy the experience along the way.

Behind every correction is a chance to improve, and behind every challenge is an opportunity to try again. His consideration for his students allows them room to learn from mistakes and discover opportunities they may not always see for themselves.

Beyond the classroom, his journey through sports, achievements, and titles adds another dimension to the example he sets for students. This Teachers’ Day, we recognise Sir Leonard Sydrick Pajo for the standards he sets, the chances he gives, and the lessons he continues to bring.

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏: 𝑩𝒂𝒋 𝑯𝒂𝒅𝒋𝒂 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒚 𝑵𝒂𝒎𝒍𝒊 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 2026

More than a fame, the Bai Hadja Fatima Matabay Namli Plang Invitational Games gathered together Physical Education (PE) teachers and sports educators to an invitational game—building another meaningful chapter through sports and play.

With every rally, serve, and point came an opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the shared passion for physical education and sports. More than a competition, the said invitational game demonstrates how physical educators can build stronger professional relationships through movement and play—proving that the lessons of physical education extend far beyond the four corners of the classroom.

The participants came from these six different participating institutions accross mindanao—𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑜 (𝑈𝑆𝑀), 𝐶𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 (𝐶𝑜𝑡𝑆𝑈), 𝑆𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑎𝑛 𝐾𝑢𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑡 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 (𝑆𝐾𝑆𝑈), 𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑜 𝑂𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 (𝐷𝑂𝑟𝑆𝑈), 𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑜 𝑑𝑒𝑙 𝑆𝑢𝑟 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒 (𝐷𝑆𝑆𝐶), 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝐹𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑦 (𝐶𝐹𝐶𝑆𝑇).

Held on September 26, 2026, at USM Kabacan, the pickleball event created a space where educators stepped beyond the classroom and into the court, bringing with them not only their skills but also the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Six schools, one court, and a shared passion for sports—another meaningful chapter in building stronger partnerships through play.

From serving behind the scenes as a student leader to guiding learners as an educator, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙀𝙡𝙢𝙖𝙚 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙈. 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖, a BPEd alumnus and the former Internal Vice President of the Kinetics Organization, demonstrate the kind of leadership that does not end even after graduating, but instead continues to share the knowledge and experiences she gained thoughout her journey.

From being a student leader who represents the whole PEmilya, Ms. Elmae, carries with her the lessons of leadership, responsibility, service, and calling to serve, as she later on became a Physical Education (PE) Senior Lecturer and a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT)—leaving an impact on the students she now helps to shape and inspire to in the future.

This Teachers' Month, we poudly honor 𝙈𝙨. 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙖 𝙂𝙞𝙡, BPEd alumnus and the former Kinetics Organization President—whose service goes beyond her duties and responsibilities as a student leader, who stood with her fellow BPEd students.

Her journey did not end with leadership alone, as she went on to earn her license as a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT), and later on became a Physical Education Senior Lecturer, turning the experiences she gained along the way into something she could share with the next generation.

From leading the organization to standing in front of future educators, Ms. Blessy reminds us that leadership can become a foundation for service, and that the journey of learning never truly ends when you choose to give back to others.

A teacher's greatest impact is not only measured by what his students learn, it is by how they learn to believe in themselves.

This Teachers' Month, we proudly honor 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙞𝙢 𝙏𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙤. As a Physical Educator, Sir Arianne challenges his students to step beyond their comfort zones, explore their capabilities, and discover more about themselves. He pushes them not to be perfect, but to be brave enough to try, grow, and believe that they are capable of more.

Through his constant encouragement and genuine support, he creates a classroom that does not only revolves in lessons but also an environment where every learner feels welcomed, valued, and accepted for who they are.

Some lessons are written on pages; others take shape through the experiences we carry beyond the classroom. As an educator and adviser of batch Invicta, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙨 guides students not only through academic lessons but also through principles and perspectives that extend beyond the books.

Through his guidance and support, he creates opportunities for students to learn from both the classroom and the experiences that come with being part of a growing community. A birthday marks another year lived, but for an educator, it also reflects the lessons shared along the way. Through the classroom, advising, and everyday interactions with students, Sir Pink Floyd Boyles continues to share principles and perspectives that extend beyond academic discussions.

The knowledge gained from a teacher does not always remain within the pages of a book. Some lessons become part of how students approach challenges, make decisions, and carry responsibilities beyond the classroom.

On this day, we celebrate another year of Sir Floyd and the lessons he continues to leave with the students he guides.

Some talents and expertise are not only meant to be mastered–it also needs to be shared and passed on to others.

More than his profession, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙮 𝙇. 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙮𝙖 creates opportunities for students using his deep knowledge and talent in music, exploring abilities they never knew they had. He also encourages them to step beyond what they believe they can only do, and start acting and thinking outside the box. Through his patience, encouragement, and guidance, he creates a space where learners can grow at their own pace, discover their strengths, and gain confidence in their abilities.

This Teachers’ Day, we celebrate a mentor who teaches us not only what to learn, but also how to balance the different parts of our lives and grow into better, more well-rounded individuals.

Some teachers teach, some teachers inspires, and some teachers leave an impact not only through their lessons, but also through creating space where their students feel welcome and comfortable and 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢 𝙍. 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖 is one of those.

Sir William makes his teaching environment more welcoming for his students. He makes it easier for students to adjust, feel comfortable, and eventually enjoy their journey as students.
