UPCAT 2027 Extended deadline for Forms 1 and 2B, Form 2A, and Hard copy of Grades Submission
UPCAT 2027 applicants who took the exam must update, fill out and submit their Forms 1 and 2B through the online portal. Certified true copies of Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 must also be submitted to the UP Office of Admissions, located at UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Deadline is extended until 07 September 2026.
Access the applicant's online portal at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/
Failure to submit your online Form 2B and the required hard copy of your grades may result in your application not being processed.
Please be reminded to NOT withdraw your application if you have incorrect information in the online application.
Grade 12 school officials must also use the Form 2A online portal to update their school information and signatories, and confirm their Grade 12 students until the same extended deadline.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 131 ng Malacañang, suspendido pa rin ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa Lungsod ng Imus bukas, Agosto 20, 2026 (Huwebes) dahil sa Hanging Habagat na pinalalakas ng Bagyong . 🌀

Pinapayuhan ang mga paaralan na ipatupad ang Alternative Learning Modalities upang maipagpatuloy ang pagkatuto ng ating mga mag-aaral. Ipatutupad naman ang Skeletal Work Arrangement sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Imus upang matiyak ang patuloy na paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling ligtas, alerto at mapagmatyag. Iwasang lumabas kung hindi kinakailangan at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso at weather updates.

Dahil sa sunod‑sunod na insidente ng karahasan na kinasasangkutan ng mga estudyante, agad na nag‑utos si City Mayor Alex “AA” L. Advincula na doblehin at paigtingin ang seguridad sa lahat ng paaralan sa lungsod.

Bilang tugon, nagpulong sina Imus Chief of Police PLTCOL Chey Chey I. Saulog at Officer‑in‑Charge Schools Division Superintendent Lito Palomar upang maglatag ng mga kongkretong hakbang para masig**o ang kaligtasan ng mga kabataan.

Kabilang sa mga tinalakay ang mas mahigpit na pagbabantay sa paligid ng mga paaralan, mas aktibong koordinasyon ng pulisya at pamunuan ng paaralan, at pagpapatupad ng mga programang pang‑disiplina at pang‑kabataan.

Tinitiyak ng lokal na pamahalaan na patuloy na magiging katuwang ang kapulisan at ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa pagpapanatili ng ligtas na kapaligiran para sa mga mag-aaral.
