VINCERE CAMP 2025 | CONCLUSION
Last June 10, 2025. As our student leaders prepare for the upcoming academic year, the Vincere Campers gathered one last time at the Fr. Carlo Braga Library after their transformative 5-day journey in Calauan, Laguna. This final gathering served as a moment of reflection an opportunity to evaluate the activities, assess the objectives, and offer feedback on the camp experience as a whole.
The evaluation starts with the inspiring Opening Remarks of Br. Carmelo L. Martinez, SDB, our School Director, who reminded the campers at the start of the journey about the heart of servant leadership grounded in faith, responsibility, and compassionate service. To mark their bond and shared experiences, the campers signed each other’s tote bags, turning them into lasting souvenirs of friendship and growth.
This final gathering doesn't just mark the end of Vincere Camp 2025 it lays the foundation for Vincere Camp 2 in 2026, where the mission of forming committed, compassionate, and Christ-centered leaders will continue to grow and thrive.

VINCERE CAMP 2025 | THANKSGIVING
Day 4 – June 8, 2025. The final day of Vincere Camp 2025 began with a solemn Mass at the Chapel of Don Bosco TVET Center Calauan, followed by picture-taking with the community that journeyed with our campers. During breakfast at the Feeding Center of DB Calauan, the campers offered a heartfelt tribute through the camp song "Sarangola" by Ben&Ben, and expressed their gratitude by giving tokens to their foster families from the immersion experience. They also performed a tribe song for the Salesian community, honoring their support and accompaniment throughout the camp.
After a meaningful farewell, the group gathered for a final photo and departure at Villa Maria. To celebrate the bonds formed and memories made, the campers enjoyed a swimming party at Don Bosco School of Theology in Parañaque. The day concluded with their arrival at Don Bosco Academy–Bacolor, carrying with them the spirit of servant leadership and the legacy of this unforgettable journey.

VINCERE CAMP 2025 | COLLABORATION THROUGH THE CLIMB
Day 3 – June 7, 2025 was all about Collaboration, and what better way to live it out than through a challenging yet rewarding hike to Mt. Kalisungan. Campers woke up at 5:30 AM, ready to face the day’s adventure. Known as one of the historic mountains in Laguna, Mt. Kalisungan is said to be the final stand of Filipino and American soldiers during World War II. As they climbed through slippery, muddy trails and poured effort into each step under the rain, the campers demonstrated true teamwork—encouraging one another, carrying shared burdens, and even picking up trash along the trail as a form of care for creation.
Despite the downpour, they reached the peak together, celebrating not just a physical triumph, but a powerful moment of unity. After returning and freshening up, the campers took a short break to prepare for Vincere Night 2025, but not before gathering at the open chapel of Villa Maria for a moving reflection and processing session—sharing insights, stories, and realizations from the morning’s climb.
Vincere Night, the camp’s concluding activity, was a joyful celebration of everything they had gone through. Joined by some of the Salesians of Don Bosco TVET Center Calauan, the night was filled with bonding, laughter, and community over simple "tusok-tusok" snacks and heartfelt moments. Campers and facilitators also engaged in a final reflection and affirmation activity, honoring the people they journeyed with during the entire camp.
The day—and the camp—came to a close with Good Night Prayers, offering gratitude for new friendships, growth, and the shared mission they now carry together.

VINCERE CAMP 2025 | IMMERSE FROM WITHIN
Day 2 – June 6, 2025 was dedicated to Integrity, a value that challenges our campers to live with authenticity and unity of life. The dLuctorEtEmergoan early wake-up, followed by a General Orientation and a calming Shibashi morning prayer session led by Br. Noel and Br. Migs. After breakfast and wash-up, the campers received an Orientation for their Immersion from Br. Melo, preparing their hearts and minds for the day’s mission.
They then departed for the Don Bosco TVET Center in Calauan, Laguna, where they were warmly welcomed by the Salesian community. After a brief tour of the center, the campers were accompanied to their foster families, where they would stay and experience life within the community for the day—building connections, learning from simple joys, and witnessing the value of integrity in everyday living. At the same time, the facilitators were also given the opportunity to assist in the Don Bosco Calauan Feeding Center, serving alongside the community.
In the evening, the campers bonded with the children at the Hospice of St. Margaret of Cortona, Inc., engaging in meaningful activities and sharing moments of joy through music, dance, and heartfelt interaction. Later in the evening, everyone gathered for an exciting round of Family Feud, based on a community survey conducted by the facilitators. The day concluded with Taize and a reflective Good Night Talk delivered by Br. Noel, capping off a day filled with compassion, service, and integrity.

VINCERE CAMP 2025 | HERE IT BEGINS
Day 1 of Vincere Camp 2025 began with a powerful act of commitment and faith. At 4:00 AM, our campers rose early and prepared for their spiritual journey departing for Calauan, Laguna, the site of this year’s camp. Upon arriving at Villa Maria, their home for the next four days, they settled in and received a short orientation to prepare them for the day’s highlight: the PILGRACE: a combination of Pilgrimage and Amazing Race.
Accompanied by our camp facilitators, the campers visited several sacred destinations: Sta. Cruz, Pila, Pagsanjan, Liliw, and Calauan offering prayers and reflections along the way. This journey was not just physical but deeply spiritual, laying the foundation for a week of growth, faith, and formation.
As they returned at Villa Maria in the afternoon, the campers rested and freshened up before continuing with the day’s program, including a touching orientation by Nanay Nini, a Marian devotee, a lively Quiz Bee on the pilgrimage sites, and a heartfelt Good Night Talk by Br. Paolo Romero, SDB.
One step, one prayer, one purpose—Vincere has officially begun.
