Philosophy:

FOR KIDS ONLY Learning Circle is a pre-school that does intregrated learning using principles of play in teaching. Concepts are taught by themes with each class having a specific topic discussed per month. Subject areas like math, science, social studies, language arts, cooking, music and movement are taught alongside the theme. Early literacy or reading is our thrust as seen with the emphasis on the use of children’s literature and teaching reading developmentally. Our goal is to develop a child’s socio-emotional, physical, cognitive and moral aspects or what we call total development highlighting each child’s strengths and weaknesses as a benchmark for what the child can become in the future.
