Together, letโ€™s build a future where every child is embraced and empowered.

๐Ÿ“Œ Pursuant to MOC No. 124, s. 2026, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Negros Island Region are encouraged to share the โ€œChildren with Disabilities Caravan (CAREvan)โ€ Advocacy Video by NCDA.

This June, UniFAST joins the celebration of diversity, equality, and the contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community in shaping a more compassionate and progressive society.

As advocates of quality and inclusive education, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing inclusive and equitable higher education where every learner is respected, valued, and empowered, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or personal background. Higher education institutions must remain safe and welcoming spaces that uphold the rights, dignity, and aspirations of all students.

Guided by Republic Act No. 10931, or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, we continue to implement programs like the Free Higher Education, the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), and the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) that expand educational opportunities and remove barriers to learning.

Let us continue to promote inclusivity, understanding, and mutual respect across our campuses and communities.

Newly crowned Mr. BCC, Jade Ahosto of BSIS Department, Winning Answer

Question: How can you make your school, the BCC, proud of you?

Answer: I believe that my fellow BCCians can be proud of me by being a true Mister [BCC] because I know that wearing the crown is more than just a title. It is a big responsibility that needs to handle.

That is why if I would be given the chance to become your next Mister Bacolod City College 2026, I would use this platform to support an advocacy of mine, which is gender equality. Because as an individual, Iโ€™ve seen how inequality can silence voices, reduce opportunities, and hold people back from reaching their true potential.

That is why as an advocate for it, I will support organizations that empower marginalized groups and I will also be a good role model myself who respects and values everyone equally. Because as a Mister [BCC], I strongly believe that as a Mister, it is not just only about wearing [the] crown; it is about ensuring that I become a Mister [BCC] that can be an inspiration for everyone. That is why God sent me here, because I have a purposeโ€”and that is to use my voice to make a change. Thank you and God bless, BCCians!
