Midterm Exams are finally over! Now, we are back on track with our tutorial sessions for the children of Purok Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre.

Today, as we kicked off our Second Tutorial Session, we are motivated to provide children of Purok Arao new learning & reading materials to enhance their reading capacities. It's absolutely heartwarming to see these young minds flourish, discovering new skills and exploring the joy of learning as well as reading. Our team is incredibly proud of the progress we're making together with our coordinator, Miss Ma. Marne Dumdum and for the support of Miss Arlene Casiano. To our dear officers, BSED English 3B Students, and Student Volunteers— we really appreciate your participation, efforts as well as your time to be here with CED CARES. We truly value each and every one of you who supports our mission!

The dedication and energy of these young learners every Saturday is truly inspiring. Learning is made more engaging by the help of our officers and some of our CED students, who encourage exploration of reading and comprehension materials provided. It's amazing to see how tutoring can not only boost academic skills but also build confidence and a love for learning.

The long wait is finally over!

Today, March 15, 2025, marks our first tutorial session for the academic year 2024-2025, titled "Empowering Child Literacy Program."

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event possible. Special thanks go to our officers, and our coordinator, Miss Ma. Marne J. Dumdum, our assistant coordinator, Miss Jessette D. Cruz, our dedicated participants from BSED English 3A and BECED 3A, and Miss Arlene Casiano for her unwavering support. This gathering demonstrates the power of collaboration and shared learning.

In lieu of this mentioned tutorial sessions shows the importance & how essential reading in our daily lives especially during the beginning of one's journey to learning. Our members, together with various CED students were able to determine those advance learners to those who need close monitoring & assistance. Provided with numerous reading & comprehension materials, we would like to help as well as to let them know how vital reading could be.

Here’s to a series of successful tutorials and seminars that will not only expand our knowledge but also foster a sense of community and mutual support. Let’s embark on this journey of discovery together!

CED CARES Reading Proficiency Assessment in Progreso Village, Purok Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre was a success! The old attendees as well as new members were the participants during the event.

CED CARES officers for the Academic Year 2024-2025 started their Reading Proficiency Assessment together with their new coordinator Miss Ma. Marne J. Dumdum, Assistant Coordinator Miss Jessette D. Cruz and Co-Coordinator Dr. Mercia Ann M. Apostol. The team collaborated together to ensure the smooth implementation of the program, the engagement of the old and new participants.

CED CARES Community Outreach also wants to extend our heartfelt appreciation to STIWNU ALUMNI Association INC for their utmost generosity for providing school supplies and food for the students. Their kindness and support made a huge difference in the lives of the children who attended the mentioned event.

Special thanks to Mrs. Arlene Casiano for assisting us always. The CED CARES community outreach program in which gathering the young learners and thus, making their first reading tutorial a successful one. Her dedication, passion, and support were instrumental in bringing the program to life.

Amidst the tall trees and abundant vegetation of a jungle, the various residents of the animal kingdom live together in a delicate balance. The sun's rays fall on long laps, illuminating the deep currents of life that flow beneath.

This is the kingdom of nature, where every creature plays an important role in maintaining the meaningful rhythm of the forest. It is a realm of exciting beauty, where the laws of the jungle rule and the delicate balance between hunter and prey keeps life circulating.

From BSED Filipino 3A, a play about the Fable entitled " Ang Kaharian ng mga Hayop sa Gubat"

CED CARES recently conducted a successful event, marking our third and final seminar for parents under the theme "Nurturing Success in the Classroom and Beyond" at Progreso Village, Purok Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City. We were privileged to host Dr. Renith Guanzon as our esteemed guest speaker, who delivered an enlightening discourse on "Teaching Children Good Manners and Good Grooming."

Our special gratitude extends to Dr. Marlo Guanzon for offering his valuable insights as a guest speaker at our seminar for parents. We greatly appreciated and gained valuable lessons from his address.

We further extend our appreciation to the guest speakers for their generous contributions and giveaways to the parents in attendance.

Additionally, we acknowledge the dedicated efforts of the CED CARES Officers, CED Volunteers, Community Outreach Committee (COC), Alliance of Early Childhood Education Students (AECES), and the Bachelor of Physical Education 3A students who served as tutors during the 8th tutorial session. Their commitment and participation greatly contributed to the success of the event.
