As part of the 𝟒𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐚𝐲, our volunteers joined the 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 at 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, spearheaded by the 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐄).

Following the coastal cleanup, the group proceeded to 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭, 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, for a 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞-𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

The 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 (𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀) volunteers took part in 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐎: 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨.

Fourth-year Education students from Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod (CSA-B) participated in the 2nd Negros Island and Siquijor Region Student Teachers’ Summit held on August 22, 2026, at Siliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The summit brought together pre-service teachers from various colleges and universities across the Negros Island and Siquijor Region, providing an avenue for future educators to learn and exchange ideas.

The morning session featured presentations of various action research studies from different colleges and universities, alongside parallel sessions that included talks on Writing and Teaching Children’s Literature, a Lecture-Workshop, and Assessment.

In the afternoon, the participants attended a talk on Ethics in Classroom-Based Action Research, followed by a discussion on Qualitative Research as a CBAR Method. These sessions provided the participants with valuable insights into ethical research practices and the use of qualitative approaches in classroom-based action research.
