Today marks the completion of the first batch of the Student Associate Mobilization (SAM) program, a six-month chapter filled with laughter, late brainstorming sessions, moments of confusion, and challenges that pushed us beyond our comfort zones. There were times we didn’t know what to do next, moments when everything felt overwhelming, and struggles that tested our patience and resilience. Yet through teamwork and shared determination, we pushed through, grew together, and found joy in every task accomplished. So today, let’s pause and pat ourselves on the back—we did it. Here’s to the hard work, the lessons learned, and to cheering on the next journey ahead.

We would also like to dedicate this paragraph to our seniors, Ann and Dainty, whose dedication and impact will always be remembered in Batch 1. Your contributions are an important part of SAM’s beginning and its story.

Something new and exciting has arrived at the Provincial Library!

We are happy to welcome a fresh collection of theses and dissertations, now open for reading and research. These works are more than bound pages—they are stories of inquiry, discovery, and academic dedication.

This collection features in-depth studies, innovative ideas, and evidence-based research produced by scholars under the PROJECT FREE Program of the Negros Occidental Provincial Government who earned their Master’s and Doctorate degrees from the University of St. La Salle. With topics spanning education and related fields, these materials are perfect for education students, researchers, and lifelong learners looking for reliable references and fresh perspectives.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Ms. Ma. Girlie de Guzman, Head of the USLS Learning Resource Center, together with Dr. Joyce Deloso, for generously sharing these valuable academic works and helping expand our library’s research resources.
