On July 18, 2026, at Brgy. PTA. Taytay, Bacolod City, the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄 2.0: Cultivating Coastal Harmony, headed by the Philippine Red Cross Youth Negros Occidental - Bacolod Chapter in partnership with BACIWA, brought together young volunteers, organizations, and educators in a meaningful mission to protect and restore our coastal environment.

The Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council of Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School, together with the YES-O Members, Ang PRISMA, Theater Club, and MAIHS Teachers, joined hands to plant not just mangroves, but hope — cultivating a shared vision of a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future. 🌱

🎶 𝙃𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙠 𝙢𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙩... 𝙝𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙠 𝙢𝙤 𝙧𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮. ❤️🫀

Because every heartbeat matters, every second counts, and every pair of hands has the power to save a life.

With the theme "Estudyante't Titser sa Barangay, Ating mga Lifesaver," the National CPR Day Program was successfully conducted on July 17, 2026, at the MAIHS Gymnasium, led by the 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 (𝑯𝑬𝑫𝑴𝑼) 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒐 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍.

Together with Junior High School and Senior High School students, teachers, faculty, and staff, we learned that being a lifesaver doesn't require a cape - just the courage to act and the knowledge to respond.

A heartfelt thank you to our 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒍𝒖𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝑨𝑰𝑯𝑺 for assisting and guiding participants in the proper conduct of CPR, and to our 𝑴𝑨𝑰𝑯𝑺 𝑹𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔 for maintaining order and ensuring the smooth flow of the program.

To everyone who volunteered, participated, and supported this activity - thank you for making this event a meaningful success. And to the HEDMU Team of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, thank you for equipping our school community with lifesaving skills that can make a difference when it matters most.

🚑𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞. 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬♥️

The Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (SPRCY) volunteers of 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐨-𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 successfully completed the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC) on July 4, 2026 and the Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support (EFA-BLS) Training on July 11, 2026, held at the MAIHS Campus.

These trainings equipped our volunteers with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to serve with competence, compassion, and commitment. Every lesson learned and every skill practiced brings us one step closer to becoming more prepared to respond whenever help is needed.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated RCY trainers and facilitators for sharing your time, expertise, and passion in shaping the next generation of humanitarian volunteers.
