BCCN secures back-to-back Men’s Basketball championships at the recently concluded 19th ACSINI Interschool Rally

BCCN Men's Basketball Team Wins Championship Against MCC
The BCCN men's basketball team won the championship game against MCC with a final score of 100–40.
On March 6, 2026, at the Shiloh Christian School covered court, the game started exactly at 4:00 PM between the BCCN basketball team and the MCC basketball team.
MCC scored the first points of the game, giving them an early lead of 7–0. BCCN then called their first timeout to adjust their strategy and recover their momentum.
BCCN's point guard Ringor led the team with a fast-paced offense, with the help of Eriman, who contributed three consecutive three-point shots to help the team catch up with MCC. The first half ended with a score of 37–14 in favor of BCCN.
In the second half, BCCN's big man Yulo entered the game and made an immediate impact. He strengthened the team's defense by blocking the opponents' attempted shots and securing offensive opportunities, which helped widen the scoring gap against MCC.
In spite of MCC's efforts on both offense and defense, they were defeated by BCCN with a final score of 100–40.
This victory earned BCCN the title of Back-to-Back Champions of ACSI-NI Men's Basketball.

BCCN secures championship; ends drought at ACSI-NI campaign

TACULING, BACOLOD CITY -- Bacolod Christian College of Negros and Maranatha Christian College went head to head Thursday afternoon, at Shiloh Christian School covered court.

MCC dominates the first half by dumping every possesion available in the paint, accessing their twin towers ready to score. MCC stick to their gameplan not until BCCN adjusts and scored an 8-0 run to end the first half, 38-36.

In a pivotal second half, BCCN's Ringor continues to pe*****te the pretty tight 2-3 zone defense of MCC - which momentarily switches to fullcourt trap and/or press. Affected by the fatigue, the other four guys stepped up. The fourth quarter opened up with the BCCN's 11-0 run at the middle of the period - this includes the wild eurostep by Infante and the shimmy protect shot in the elbow by Eriman.

MCC eventually bows down to BCCN, 80-72.

In a private interview, former BCCN team captain Aldron Tanlogon said "Kanami sa feeling. As in, indi ko kapati."

Maranatha Christian College dominates the first period - starting off with an early 6-0 run to get the lead, 4-10. MCC continues to swarm the paint not until the 2nd quarter where the 8-0 run of BCCN put into place, including the 4 point play opportunity of #3 Jimena. #14 Ringor continues to contribute by pemetrating the MCC's zone defense.
