β€œBeyond the recognition we received, the most meaningful thing that has happened is that the stories we told were recognized. Through their impact, we believe we have given the story of a farmer the justice it deserves,” director Mhika Jhella Cenizal said.

The film bagged Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Actor, and Best Director for Cenizal.

Furthermore, the film will represent NIR under the Agarian Reform Beneficiaries category in the national level.

β€œI wanted to bring honor to my department, but my real goal was to win for Mechanical Engineering because we are not the best for nothing. […] No one can take the Mr. Gwapo title away from us. In the future we will continue to win,” Robles said.

Furthermore, Joebert Ebcas Jr. as Flow G from Computer Engineering and JP Villanueva as Gloc-9 from Civil Engineering placed first and second runners-up, respectively.

𝗔π—₯π—§π—œπ—¦π—§π—œπ—– π—–π—Ÿπ—”π—¦π—›. Engineering students expressed their creativity through literature and music as they competed in the Literary and Musical (LITMUS) competition during Engineering Days 2026 at the University Gymnasium, Sep. 23.

β€œAs a performer, the LITMUS event made us engineering students showcase our talents and skills aside from solving math problems for a short period,” mechanical engineering MTV performer Anicar Frias said.

Meanwhile, the overall winners of LITMUS will be announced during the Acquaintance Party on September 26.
