From classroom learning to real-life patient care, our Health Care Services NC II students continue to grow through their On-the-Job Training at Station 3 of the Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital last April 29–30, 2026.

Through their exposure in caring for mothers and newborn infants, our students gained meaningful experiences that highlight the importance of compassionate healthcare from the very beginning of life. These experiences deepen their understanding that quality care extends across all stages of life — from infants to the elderly — shaping them to become competent, compassionate, and dedicated future nursing attendants and health aides.

Every task performed and every lesson learned during their duty brings them one step closer to becoming effective, responsible, and caring healthcare providers in the future.

Your OLMCB family is proud of your perseverance and commitment to service. Keep learning, growing, and serving with heart! 💙

Flower Arrangement Activity

Our Health Care Services NC II students showcased their creativity and skills in flower arrangement, highlighting how a clean and beautiful environment contributes to healing, comfort, and overall well-being.

Flowers are not just decorations—they bring positivity and a sense of calm that can uplift patients and their families. However, in health care settings, it is important to consider the patient’s condition first. For example, patients with cancer, asthma, or respiratory problems may require a doctor’s permission before receiving flowers, as certain scents or pollen might trigger discomfort or health concerns.

This activity teaches our students not only the art of arrangement but also the value of safety, sensitivity, and patient-centered care.
