On June 16, 2026, the Sum-ag National High School Senior Plus Red Council briefly but successfully conducted the Oath Taking Ceremony of the second batch of Council Officer's, headed by the adviser of SPRCY, Engr. Willie V. Tubal Jr.

The event turned into a meaningful gathering that uplifts the spirit of leadership, camaraderie, and dedication to continue serving and helping the community and it's people. ❤️🤍

🚨Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Ensures Safety During Mayor Greg Gasataya’s Giving of Bags Program🚨

The Giving of Bags Program led by Mayor Greg Gasataya was successfully conducted at the Sum-ag National High School Gym, June 16, 2026. Where bags were distributed to all students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. The initiative aimed to support students by providing them with essential school materials in preparation for the academic year.

During the activity, the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (RCY) was deployed to ensure the safety and well-being of the students and participants. RCY members remained on standby throughout the event, ready to provide immediate assistance in case of emergencies or health-related concerns.

As part of their duty, RCY volunteers were prepared to respond to situations such as dizziness, heat exhaustion, minor injuries, fainting, and other unforeseen incidents that could occur during the gathering. Their presence helped maintain a safe and secure environment, allowing the program to proceed smoothly and successfully.

The activity brought together students, school personnel, and community leaders in a meaningful event that highlighted support for education and student welfare. Through proper coordination and preparedness, the program was carried out efficiently while ensuring the safety of everyone in attendance.

Following the successful event, SSLG President Humphrey Miles Bayot expressed his sincere gratitude to all staff members, volunteers, officers, and individuals whose dedication, cooperation, and hard work contributed to the success of the program. He acknowledged their commitment to serving the school community and helping create a well-organized and safe activity for all.

The Senior Plus Red Cross Youth remains committed to its mission of humanitarian service, preparedness, and compassion. By remaining vigilant and ready to respond whenever needed, RCY continues to uphold its role as a reliable partner in promoting safety and care within the school community.

128ᵗʰ PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 🇵🇭

The 𝐒𝐮𝐦-𝐀𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 proudly participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, together with fellow citizens in honoring the nation's freedom and sovereignty.

This year's celebration carried the meaningful theme, “𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧,” emphasizing the importance of remembering our history, appreciating the sacrifices of our heroes, and building a stronger future for the Filipino people.

The ceremony was led by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨 “𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠” 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐬𝐨𝐧, Governor of Negros Occidental, alongside government officials, community leaders, and participating organizations, demonstrating unity and patriotism in commemorating this significant national occasion.

As members of the 𝐒𝐮𝐦-𝐀𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡, we remain committed to upholding the values of service, leadership, and humanitarianism while celebrating our nation's independence and honoring the legacy of freedom that unites us all.

The Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council successfully conducted its 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 for aspiring officers at 𝗦𝘂𝗺-𝗮𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. This activity served as an important step in identifying student leaders who are ready to uphold the principles and values of the Red Cross Youth movement.

We are also honored by the presence and support of 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘁, whose participation highlighted the importance of collaboration and youth leadership within the school community.
