The research investigates the preparedness of BSIS students from DMMMSU-NLUC for employment, highlighting competency gaps revealed by the AMCAT. The Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry continues to demand graduates equipped with strong domain knowledge, communication skills, logical reasoning, and administrative competencies. AMCAT findings showed that BSIS students were moderately skilled in Basic Computer Literacy, English, and Quantitative Ability but had notable deficiencies in Office Administration, Logical Ability, Information Gathering and Synthesis, and Internet Ability. © 2026 Springer Nature.
