Once standing as a silent witness to generations of BNCHS learners, the acacia tree embodied strength, memory, and continuity. When Super Typhoon Nando caused its branch to fall, the loss was transformed into purpose and crafted into the Acacia Star, now shining as a symbol of resilience. From adversity emerged light, affirming that BNCHS remains deeply rooted, steadfast, and ever capable of rising after every storm.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Student athletes and their teacher coaches who triumphed in the recently concluded 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐀 “𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈” 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 were formally recognized during the Monday Convocation Program, honoring their commendable performances and contributions to school based sports excellence.

In Athletics Boys, Zai John Aceret earned Gold in Triple Jump, Bronze in High Jump, and Bronze in the 100 Meter Dash, qualifying for the R1AA.
In Athletics Girls, Arianna Dawn Rabi secured Gold medals in Shot Put and Discus, while Kim Jae Lee Rumbaoa claimed Gold in Javelin, both qualifying for the R1AA. Jairah Ezekiel Corpuz earned Silver in High Jump, with the Athletics Girls team emerging as Overall Champion.

In Chess Boys, Marc Zesar P. Andres achieved Bronze in Blitz Individual, Silver in Blitz Team, Silver in Rapid Team, Silver in Standard Individual, and Gold in Standard Team, earning R1AA qualification.
In Chess Girls, Princess Lara Butac garnered Bronze in Blitz Team, Silver in Rapid Team, and Gold in Standard Team, leading the team to become Overall Champion.

In Badminton Boys, under the guidance of Coach Christian D. Madariaga, Joaquin Ynago Lopez earned Silver and qualified for the R1AA, while Franz Landen Madariaga and Naemar Migz Arana both secured Bronze medals.

In Futsal, coached by Dexter Calzada of SNHS and Vincent Vedania of BNCHS, Kimberly Ramento led the team to a Gold medal finish and R1AA qualification.

In Taekwondo Girls, Sophia Ruiz captured Gold and qualified for the R1AA, while Seysha Mercado earned Silver in Individual and Gold in Mixed Pair, also qualifying for the R1AA.

In Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, coached by Leizel Clen E. Gomez, Allaine O. Gaoiran, Lovely Maricar D. Mariano, and Reisha Sieyan Salvador achieved Bronze in Team Standing.

In Rhythmic Gymnastics, coached by Efren Jonicel D. Domingo with Trainer Edwin C. Padasdao, Karylle Joy A. Farinas earned Bronze medals in Hoop, Ball, Ribbon, Individual All Around, and Team Standing, Silver in Clubs, and qualified for the R1AA. Together with Erryza Wayne D. Ramos and Angeline Faith Soriano, the team also secured Bronze in Team Standing.

In Aerobic Gymnastics, coached by Henrietto G. Ridad, Trisha Camille R. Parico earned Gold medals in Individual Women, Mixed Pair, Trio, and Team Standing, qualifying for the R1AA. Edrian Jay A. Madela also achieved Gold in Mixed Pair and Team Standing.

In Volleyball Boys, led by Head Coach Denzdy Santos and Assistant Coach Eleuberto Acedillo, the team composed of Aries Jacob Acido, Marc Justin Acio, Laurence Aquillo, Dexter Jake Agonoy, Marwin Cacal, Jherdy Castillo, Mark Daniel Comparada, Jhon Vinzent Rivera, Russel Villanueva, Kenneth Lee Visitacion, John Bernard Yanos, and Louise Gabriel Yanos emerged as Champions.

In Arnis, Eduardo Sagayadoro earned Silver in Combative, Lee Anne Daphne Padre secured Bronze in Combative Pin Weight Division, Raisan D. Baba achieved Silver in Combative Extra Feather Weight Division and Bronze in Anyo Individual Double Weapon, and Emm Joie Briñas earned Bronze in Combative Half Feather Weight Division, with the team finishing Bronze overall in Combative.

This recognition underscores the collective dedication of student athletes, coaches, and trainers whose achievements reflect discipline, resilience, and excellence. Their success affirms the vital role of school based sports programs in developing character, fostering teamwork, and inspiring the wider school community.

Bacarra National Comprehensive High School extends its sincere appreciation to our generous benefactors whose spirit of giving has brought early holiday cheer and meaningful support to the school community under the leadership of our School Principal, Dr. Norberto S. Galiza.

We gratefully acknowledge Mrs. Esmeralda Saducos Domingo of the Teddy V.E. Domingo Foundation Inc. for her ₱40,000.00 donation toward the purchase of a camera for the TV Broadcasters; Engr. Jacob Gonzales of JSG Construction Supply for his ₱1,000.00 contribution for a router to support our writers; and Mrs. Marina Bolusan for her generous gift of USD 100 to provide snacks for the Youth Grinder staff during their training.

The Youth Grinder Staff, headed by Mrs. Eliza Milagros A. Rivera, received these blessings with overwhelming gratitude and renewed motivation. We likewise extend our thanks to the BNCHS Alumni Association, led by Atty. Jonathan Asuncion, and Ms. Mercy Valite, Treasurer, for their continued support and partnership.

𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬, 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

The monthlong Bac-Bacarra Festival concluded in grandeur as the local government of Bacarra, in collaboration with Bacarra National Comprehensive High School, crowned Her Majesty Queen Hannah Grace I of Brgy. Buyon along with her royal court representing the various barangays of the town.

In her role as guest of honor and speaker, Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos highlighted the festival theme: “Strong Leadership, United Community: Driving Bacarra’s Social and Economic Progress.”

The night also recognized excellence in community service and education, awarding the 2025 Cleanest, Greenest, and Safest Barangays and Schools: Brgy. Macupit (Rural Category), Brgy. Sto Cristo I (Urban Category), Macupit Elementary School (Multi-Grade Level), Bangsirit Elementary School (Small School), and Cadaratan National High School (Secondary).

BNCHS conveys its heartfelt congratulations to all awardees and participants and extends its appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s festival. We extend our warmest felicitations to Her Majesty Queen Hannah Grace I, together with her royal court, whose grace and presence brought honor to their proud parents and the barangays they represented. Their participation added meaning and grandeur to this year’s celebration.

It is an honor for Bacarra National Comprehensive High School to be part of a festivity that strengthens community spirit and uplifts the rich cultural heritage of our beloved town.

𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀, 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄

Accepting defeat and choosing to rise once more led Bacarra to secure the CUSSAA 2025 Second Runner Up title. It was a remarkable finish decided not by the number of gold medals, where we tied with the Municipality of San Nicolas, but by the count of silver medals that ultimately set the final ranking. Even in this close battle, our athletes showed the strength of true champions.

From every challenge we faced, we forged resilience and carved our own momentum. We stepped onto the stage with pride and competed with every ounce of heart we had. And in doing so, we proved that championship is not measured solely by the color of medals, but by the courage to stand tall, embrace setbacks and rise stronger each time.

Congratulations to our student athletes who carried the Bacarra spirit with dignity and determination. Congratulations as well to their coach whose leadership shaped every performance, and to their proud parents whose steady support fueled each stride, jump and throw.

Win or loss, we are profoundly proud of them. What they displayed throughout this journey is a testament to how BNCHS nurtures learners not only in academics, but also in the realm of sports where character, discipline and true greatness are formed far beyond the four walls of a classroom.
