DSTF SCIENCE SKILLS OLYMPICS: URGES STUDES FORWARD
The Atulayan ES young explorers participated in the experimentation with nervousness but were inspired and curious during the conduct of the Division Science and Technology Fair.
The activity DRIVES STUDES TO EXPERIENCE, EXPLORE, ELABORATE, AND EVALUATE.
The three members of the Science Skills Olympics vied for a spot in the elimination round, luckily, the team made it to the second round until these learners were able to defend the output of their experimentation.
"Being part of the activity is an honor, especially getting the team to the elimination round where the top contestants will compete. It was a great experience for us, especially, it was our first time participating," said an ATES participant in the competition.
"The diligent training, interest to learn, and the patience of the trainer shaped us", Lucy Panunncio, one of the contestants said.
The experience is priceless, especially helpful and timely for the beta generation like them which is said to have deep technological fluency on the experimentation.
These learners have to use the newest technology in their research and exploration.
The 7 young explorers competed in the Division Science and Technology Fair at Linao ES, September 9, 2026..
ATES team brought 3 contestants who vied for Science skills Olympics, 3 contestants competed in Grade 4-6 Quiz bee, 1 contestant in Poster Making.
Meanwhile, Arabella Raine Dela Vega scored 26/30 in Quiz bee Grade 6, where she joined the clincher questions for the 5th spot. Dela Vega was one among those who scored high which put her as one of the top scorers.
These learners were with 3 coaches. Mrs. Maria Theresa G. Tumaliuan, Rean Jay Macarilay and Mrs. Marilyn Buenaflor.
