Cutar ES Reader Makes Waves at Division Read-a-thon Filipino (Tahirawan)

The recently concluded Division Festival of Talents Read-a-thon Filipino (Tahirawan) held at Bayombong Central School on December 9, 2026, highlighted the exceptional talent and dedication of young readers across the division, with Cutar Elementary School proudly celebrating a remarkable achievement.

Representing Aritao I District, Lindsay Thiphanie B. Siador, a grade 6 pupil, delivered an outstanding performance, earning the title of 4th Runner-Up among 23 district contestants who competed in the prestigious Filipino reading competition.

The Cutar Elementary School community expressed immense pride in Lindsay’s accomplishment, recognizing her as a shining example of perseverance and academic excellence.

Likewise, the entire Aritao I District proudly celebrated this milestone, as Lindsay’s achievement brought honor and inspiration to the district.

Cutar Elementary School proudly earned 4th Runner-Up in the Number Race 2025, held on November 24, 2025, at Aritao Central School.

The school was represented by Hyacinth G. Gulla and Arnold J. Agsana, who showcased remarkable speed, accuracy, and determination against strong competitors from various schools. Their outstanding performance reflects not only their talent but also the guidance of their coach, Mam Rulen M. Reyes, with the support of Mam Melanie P. Berdos and Mam Frenliz Ann Q.Tamon.

Cutar Elementary School Young Artist
Garners 5th Place in “Draw and Tell” Event

A kindergarten learner from Cutar Elementary School ,Yajelle Zian G. Silaroy, earned 5th Place in the Draw and Tell Competition held on November 24 at Aritao Central School.

The event gathered young artists and storytellers from various schools, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and early literacy skills. Participants were tasked to draw a picture based on a given theme and narrate the story behind their artwork — a challenge that tested both imagination and communication.

The event highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity among young learners and encouraging them to express ideas through both art and speech. Cutar ES continues to support activities that help learners gain confidence and showcase their talents on wider platforms.

Cutar Elementary School Stars Showcase Skills in Storytelling and Role-Playing at LGU Aritao

Last November 18, 2025, our students showcased their creativity and talent during the Story Retelling and Role-Playing Workshop held at the LGU Aritao Gymnasium.

John Rey Buado Jr. was selected to participate in the role-playing contest, contributing to his team’s victory as champions. Meanwhile, Jillian Athena Agno represented our school in the story retelling contest. Her effort and dedication were commendable.

The workshop provided a platform for our students to develop their storytelling, performance, and teamwork skills. Their participation highlights not only individual talent but also the spirit of collaboration and learning in our school community.

We congratulate both John Rey and Jillian Athena for their hard work and for making our school proud!

Cutar ES Student Wins 3rd Place in Online Art Exhibit

Cutar Elementary School celebrates the achievement of Wyence Lexanne Z. Santiago, who won 3rd Place in the recently concluded Online Art Contest and Exhibit with the theme “Heart of the Digital Age: Depicting the Dangers and Measures for OSAEC–CSAEM.”

Wyence Lexanne’s artwork stood out for its strong message on protecting children from online risks and promoting digital safety. The school community congratulates her for bringing pride to Cutar Elementary School and raising awareness through art.

Classes in all levels both public and private within the Province of Nueva Vizcaya are hereby suspended from Thursday to Saturday, November 13-15, 2025, due to the effects of Typhoon Uwan

All classes are suspended on Monday, November 10, 2025, based on the report released by the Office of the Governor regarding the class suspension due to Tropical Storm Uwan.

This measure is being taken as a precaution against the possible threats and effects of the said storm, including heavy rains, flooding, and landslides.
Everyone is advised to:

📻 Monitor official announcements from the LGU and PAGASA;
🧰 Prepare necessary emergency supplies; and

Cutar Elementary School Shines at District Science Fair

The District Science Fair was successfully held last November 3, 2025, at Aritao Central School, bringing together talented young scientists and artists from various schools in the district to showcase their creativity and scientific skills.

Representing Cutar Elementary School, Jhairah Amia O. Cueva, a Grade VI pupil, proudly garnered the title 2nd Runner-Up in the Poster Making Contest. Her artwork captured the theme of the competition, reflecting the importance of science and innovation in building a sustainable future.

Cutar Elementary School commends Jhairah for her outstanding achievement and for bringing pride and honor to the school. The school also extends its appreciation to the teachers and parents who guided and supported the participant throughout her preparation.

CES Shines in District Press Conference

Cutar Elementary School proved its excellence in campus journalism after winning major awards in the recently concluded District Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Aritao Central School on October 17, 2025.

Marreah Ayesha Louise T. Andrada, a young journalist from Grade V, won 3rd Place in News Writing – English, while Shaine Lei O. Cacal, from grade IV, bagged 2nd Place in Column Writing – Filipino. Both winners earned the right to represent the district and advance to the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) on November 13, 2025, to be held at Villaverde Central School.

In addition to the individual awards, the official school publication of Cutar Elementary School, “The Breeze,” received a Special Award as the Best School Paper (Elementary Level) — a recognition of the school’s commitment to promoting excellence in student journalism.

The school expressed its pride and gratitude to the contestants and their coaches for bringing honor to Cutar Elementary School. “We are very proud of our young journalists who continue to uphold the spirit of truth, creativity, and excellence,” said the school principal.
The event gathered campus journalists from various schools in the district, all competing in different journalism categories that aim to develop the learners’ writing and communication skills.
