Andrada wins 4th in District Plot Twisting Contest

Marrhea Ayesha Louise T. Andrada, a Grade 6 pupil, won 4th place in the Plot Twisting Challenge today, August 26, 2026 held at Aritao Central School.

The writing competition challenged students to quickly rewrite stories with creative, unexpected endings. Andrada surpassed other participants from the district to reach the top five.

Cutar ES Learners Shine at District Technofusion 2026

ARITAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA — August 25, 2026 — Young innovators from Cutar Elementary School showcased their skills and creativity during the recently concluded District Technofusion 2026, held at Aritao Central School on August 25, 2026.

Among the participating learners, Maria Sophia C. Handig and Renante Lamigo brought pride to their school after securing 4th Place in the competition featuring Algorithm Design, Dish Gardening, and Extension Cord with Switch Assembly.

The competition provided learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, technical skills, and resourcefulness through various technology-related activities. Participants were challenged to apply their knowledge and skills while working carefully and efficiently.

Handig and Lamigo’s achievement reflected their dedication, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition. Their performance also highlighted the importance of providing learners with opportunities to develop practical and technological skills beyond the classroom.

The learners were coached by Ma’am Rulen M. Reyes, whose guidance and support contributed to their preparation and success in the competition.
School Head Sir James O. Lamsis also expressed pride in the learners’ accomplishment, recognizing their effort and representing Cutar Elementary School with excellence.

More Than a Meal: Cutar ES Unites for the Health and Well-Being of Learners

More than food was served at Cutar Elementary School as the school community came together to celebrate kindness, generosity, and concern for the health and well-being of its learners during a successful Feeding Program held on July 31, 2026.

The activity was initiated by the GPTA officers led by President Genaro M. Evangelista Jr. and Committee on Education Chair Ludivico Lamigo Jr. Their initiative reflected their continuing commitment to supporting the nutritional needs and overall welfare of the learners.
Behind every meal served was the generosity of individuals who willingly extended their support to the school. The feeding activity was made possible through the kindness of sponsors Mr. Claro Nagui, Mr. Harry Kane Rodillas, Ms. Atheena Rodillas, Ms. Remelyn Galutan, and Ms. Jaena Cacayan.

For the learners, the activity was more than simply receiving a nutritious meal. It was a moment filled with smiles, excitement, and a sense of being cared for. The nutritious food served during the activity helped promote proper nutrition while giving the children renewed energy for learning and participating in school activities.

The success of the program was also made possible through the active participation of teachers, parents, and volunteers. From preparing the food to distributing meals, everyone played an important role in making the activity meaningful and successful.

Young Voices, Big Achievements: Cutar ES Shines in District Press Conference

ARITAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA — August 15, 2026. — Young journalists from Cutar Elementary School (CES) showcased their writing and journalism skills during the District Press Conference held at Aritao National High School on August 15, 2026.

The young journalists brought pride and honor to Cutar Elementary School with their remarkable performances across various journalism categories.
Leading the school’s impressive showing were Lei Alyssa G. Gulla, who secured 1st Place in Filipino News Writing, coached by Lilibeth B. Lejao, and Shaine Lei O. Cacal, who won 1st Place in Filipino Column Writing, coached by Jonalyn C. Gamido.

Other CES journalists also earned top spots in their respective categories. Marrhea Ayesha Louise T. Andrada placed 2nd in English News Writing, while Ronett Joy V. Acosta earned 2nd in Filipino Editorial Writing, both coached by Jessamine B. Serquina.
Aaron V. Mallari secured 3rd Place in Filipino Column Writing, coached by Jonalyn C. Gamido. Meanwhile, Klein Keiznier M. Cano placed 3rd in English Headline Writing and Copy Reading, coached by Jessamine B. Serquina.

In Editorial Cartooning, Raul Baccay earned 3rd Place in English, while Crisha Mae Tadeo placed 5th in Filipino, both coached by Tabitha Gem C. Manaois.
Francine R. Amarinero also brought home a 5th Place finish in Filipino Feature Writing, coached by Jonalyn C. Gamido.

Also representing Cutar Elementary School as young journalists were John Rey A. Buado Jr., Amarie Shanelle C. Manaois, Arnold J. Agsana Jr., Precious Jane D. Javien, Kriztel Heart A. Ganal, Floyd Lauren A. Reyes, and Cydrix R. Bernabe.

The achievements reflect the dedication, creativity, and hard work of the learners, coaches, and school community in developing young writers and responsible campus journalists.

The school’s journalism team continues to inspire learners to use their voices, sharpen their skills, and tell stories that matter.

Mag-aaral ng Cutar ES, Nagkamit ng Ika-6 na Puwesto sa Legislative Quiz Bee

ARITAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA — Nagkamit ng ika-6 na puwesto si Marrhea Ayesha Louise T. Andrada, Grade 6 learner ng Cutar Elementary School (CES), sa isinagawang Legislative Quiz Bee na nilahukan ng 27 paaralan sa Bayan ng Aritao bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Legislative Awareness Week ng Municipality of Aritao.

Sa pamamagitan ng masusing paghahanda, dedikasyon, at pagsusumikap, naipamalas ni Andrada ang kanyang kaalaman at kahusayan sa mga usaping may kaugnayan sa lehislatura, pamahalaan, at mga batas.

Ang kanyang pagkamit ng ika-6 na puwesto ay patunay ng kanyang determinasyon at kahandaan sa mga gawaing akademiko. Nagsilbi rin itong inspirasyon sa kanyang mga kapwa mag-aaral na patuloy na magsikap at pagyamanin ang kanilang kaalaman sa mga isyung panlipunan at pampamahalaan.

Ipinahayag naman ng Cutar Elementary School ang pagmamalaki sa natamong tagumpay ni Andrada, na nagbigay karangalan sa paaralan sa pamamagitan ng kanyang natatanging pagganap sa patimpalak.
Sa likod ng kanyang tagumpay ay ang patuloy na paggabay ng kanyang coach na si Tabitha Gem C. Manaois at suporta ng School Head na si James O. Lamsis.

Ang tagumpay ni Andrada ay nagsisilbing patunay na ang sipag, tiyaga, at wastong paghahanda ay mahalagang susi sa pagkamit ng tagumpay.

A Gift Beyond Supplies: Barangay Cutar’s Commitment to Education

As a new school year begins, the excitement of learning once again fills the halls of Cutar Elementary School (CES). Along with new lessons, new classmates, and new hopes, learners received something that would help them take their first steps into another year of learning—the gift of school supplies from the caring community of Barangay Cutar.
Continuing its annual tradition of supporting education, the officials of Barangay Cutar, headed by Barangay Captain John A. Mayoya, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials and Hon. Ludivico M. Lamigo Jr., Chairperson of the Committee on Education, distributed school supplies to all learners of Cutar Elementary School.

For many learners, school supplies may seem like simple things—pencils, notebooks, and other materials needed in the classroom. Yet behind every item is a message of encouragement: that their community believes in their ability to learn, grow, and dream.
The annual distribution is conducted in support of the opening of classes, ensuring that learners have essential materials as they begin the school year. With these supplies in their hands, learners can enter their classrooms better prepared and more motivated to face the challenges and opportunities that await them.

More than a yearly activity, the initiative reflects Barangay Cutar’s continuing partnership with the school. It shows that education is not the responsibility of teachers and parents alone but is a shared commitment of the entire community.

Cutar Elementary School Welcomes Back Master Teacher II

CUTAR, ARITAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA — Warmly welcomed by the Cutar Elementary School (CES) family was Ma’am Lilibeth B. Lejao, Master Teacher II, as she returned to the school where she previously served for ten years.
Although Lejao is not new to Cutar Elementary School, her return marked a special moment for the school community. Her previous decade of service allowed her to make a lasting impact on learners, teachers, and the community.
The CES family expressed their delight over her return and looked forward to the knowledge, dedication, and inspiration she would once again share with the school community.
With her years of experience and commitment to education, Lejao is expected to continue contributing to the growth and development of learners and teachers at Cutar Elementary School.

The recently concluded Division Festival of Talents Read-a-thon Filipino (Tahirawan) held at Bayombong Central School on December 9, 2026, highlighted the exceptional talent and dedication of young readers across the division, with Cutar Elementary School proudly celebrating a remarkable achievement.

Representing Aritao I District, Lindsay Thiphanie B. Siador, a grade 6 pupil, delivered an outstanding performance, earning the title of 4th Runner-Up among 23 district contestants who competed in the prestigious Filipino reading competition.

The Cutar Elementary School community expressed immense pride in Lindsay’s accomplishment, recognizing her as a shining example of perseverance and academic excellence.

Garners 5th Place in “Draw and Tell” Event

A kindergarten learner from Cutar Elementary School ,Yajelle Zian G. Silaroy, earned 5th Place in the Draw and Tell Competition held on November 24 at Aritao Central School.

The event gathered young artists and storytellers from various schools, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and early literacy skills. Participants were tasked to draw a picture based on a given theme and narrate the story behind their artwork — a challenge that tested both imagination and communication.

The event highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity among young learners and encouraging them to express ideas through both art and speech. Cutar ES continues to support activities that help learners gain confidence and showcase their talents on wider platforms.
