Women's Month Celebration
March 19, 2026. Malekkeg Elementary School celebrated Womenโs Month, starting with an insightful lecture by Remilina B. Barsatan for all our learners. The session focused on empowerment and respect, giving the learners a deeper understanding of the importance of this month. It was wonderful to see the children so attentive and engaged throughout the discussion.
Following the lecture, the teachers distributed snacks to all the learners as a nice treat. This small shared snack was a great way to transition into the final part of our program. To end the day with high energy, the entire teaching staff of Malekkeg Elementary School led everyone in a fun Zumba dance, bringing smiles and laughter to all.

The school flagpole project finally stood tall last December 2025. Teaching staff and parents of Malekkeg Elementary School are incredibly grateful to the Barangay Council, led by Punong Barangay Romeo Guillermo and the seven (7) Kagawads, for approving the project and providing โฑ35,000.00 for construction materials. This first phase of the project is a realization of a request originally made by the former school head, Elizabeth Guillermo.
Special thanks to SPTA President Romer Dela Cruz for coordinating with Mam Jeaza Gem M. Cabigas, PESO, and to Mayor Evelyn B. Martinez for approving the TUPAD labor that built this structure. Itโs a proud moment for our school to see the flag flying high, thanks to the combined efforts of our local government and school leaders. This landmark truly symbolizes our community's unity and patriotism.
