Emiliana Elementary School Shines in District Science and Math Fair 2025
The District Science and Math Fair 2025 was held on September 25, 2025 at Santa Marcela West Central Elementary School, where Emiliana Elementary School proudly showcased the excellence and determination of its young learners.
One of the highlights was the Grade 5 learner, Rhea Mae Agustin, who turned her past defeat into a powerful source of motivation. Last August 28, she placed second in the Rap Singing Contest during the Buwan ng Wika celebration. Instead of letting the loss discourage her, she used it as a stepping stone for growth. “Adda Kuma manen p**i contest’sak. Second nak ita, next nga event, first nak tun,” Rhea expressed, showing her determination to rise stronger. True enough, her hard work and persistence paid off as she brought home the first place award in the Math 5 Quiz Bee. Guided by her coach, Ms. Lady Krenz Pascua, Rhea spent nights reviewing, asking questions, and updating her coach to ensure she was well-prepared for the competition.
Another shining star was Mc Louie Tangonan, who joined the Science 5 Quiz Bee for the first time. Despite narrowly missing the top stop by just one point, he proudly secured second place. Instead of feeling down, Mc Louie promised himself that this would be the beginning of his journey toward bigger victories in the future.
Aside from Rhea and Mc Louie, Emiliana Elementary School was also represented by outstanding pupils from grade 3-4, and 6 in the Science and Math Quiz Bee: Jamaila Precious Diaz and Charles Andres who are grade 6 learners of Mrs. Michelle B. Acebedo; Jannela U. Dangue and Francel Ianika Rumpon, Grade 4 learners of Mrs. Angeli Mae T. Abadilla;and Denis John Pascua and Judelyn Antonio from the Grade 3 class of Mrs. Marcia P. Salvador. All of them demonstrated excellence, sportsmanship, and the true spirit of learning.
The event proved not only a showcase of intelligence but also a celebration of perseverance, determination, and the will to improve—values that Emiliana Elementary School continues to instill in its learners.

PRACTICE SAVES LIVES
Emiliana ES Successfully Conducts NSED with BFP Assistance
READINESS MATTERS: With the guidance of BFP Santa Marcela, Emiliana Elementary School strengthens disaster preparedness through the NSED, featuring hands-on drills and safety discussions.
During the session, BFP personnel discussed essential safety measures, including the proper use of a fire extinguisher, the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique, and the importance of moving to open areas during emergencies. An actual demonstration followed, allowing learners and staff to observe and practice these safety protocols.
After the lecture and demonstration, elementary learners actively participated in the earthquake and fire drill. The BFP personnel evaluated their performance and provided feedback to further improve their emergency response skills.
Emiliana ES extends its gratitude to the BFP of Santa Marcela for their invaluable support in ensuring that our learners are well-equipped with knowledge and skills to respond effectively in times of disaster.
