DepEd Tayo Mataguisi Elementary School

The teaching staff of Mataguisi Elementary School headed by Nerissa O. Padeway, the school Principal was able to solicit 52 span perimeter fence from the Alumni, Barangay Officials, teachers, OFW, relatives, I Love Pudtol FB Group through Miss Ellah Balawag, Apayao Descendants through Miss Essen Sabadao both are Isnag and other external stakeholders. The western, northern and southern part of the school before was sorrounded by barbwire/hogwire which is dangerous to pupils so the teaching staff and parents decided to solicit funds for the perimeter fence.. Solicitation is still on-going to complete the said project.. Hoping that the PTA meet the target for a 3 year plan complete fencing.

Mataguisi Elementary School purchased 7 sets 3 in 1 EPSON Printer from the School MOOE intended for printing of modules and one (1) donated by LGU Pudtol.. Thank you to LGU headed by our Municipal Mayor Hector Reuel Pascua.

Information Education Campaign on Novel Corona Virus to the parents of Mataguisi Elementary School..

Gulayan sa Paaralan of Mataguisi Elementary School was sponsored by Riseline J. Crisologo (wearing black jacket) the owner of Resiline's Farm of Imelda, Pudtol, Apayao. The owner of the farm teaches the procedure on how to prepare garden plot, making trellises, landscaping the garden, until planting.

The very supportive parents and barangay officials of Mataguisi Elementary School cleaning and preparing the plot for Gulayan sa Paaralan this January 2020.

Information education campaign in dental hygiene. Kids of Mataguisi Elem. School were taught on proper toothbrushing. Facilitators were Lyra Queddeng and Vernalyn Pascua both are school nurses of Pudtol District. All the 196 pupils were received dental kit to include 1 toothbrush and 1 toothpaste.

40 pupils of Mataguisi Elem. School are benefited of tooth extraction services of the Health Unit Division of SDO Apayao. Administering the tooth extraction is Fely Sayoc, one of the dentists of the Division.
