San Jose Elementary School warmly welcomed its learners today during the first flag -raising ceremony for the opening of classes, S.Y. 2026-2027.
This morning commenced with a solemn invocation, followed by proud singing of the Pambansang Awit, Provincial Hymn, and Town Hymn. To promote wellness and positivity, everyone energized their minds and bodies with a lively zumba routine.
To guide us into this new academic journey our school head , Mrs. Meah Joy V. Gamos, shared inspiring words and important announcements to set us up for success.

Partnering for Progress
San Jose Elementary School extends its deepest gratitude to the Timpuyog Rainfed Farmers Association, under the leadership of Mr. Jimcie Balicat , for their active participation in day 5 of Brigada Eskwela.
The association generously volunteered their time and effort to assist the school community in w**ding the premises, painting classrooms, koisk , repairing tables, bookshelves and organizing pathways. This valuable partnership highlights the vital role of community stakeholders in fostering a conducive learning environment for our pupils. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to education!

LGU- Luna Distributes School Supplies to San Jose Elementaey School Learners
As part of the continous commitment to supporting quality Education and lessening the financial burden on families, the Local Government Unit of Luna led by Mayor Januario S. Garde, spearheaded the distribution of School supplies to the pupils of San Jose Elementary School.

📣JUST IN: DepEd issues Guidelines on the Grant of Wellness Leave
The Department of Education (DepEd) has released the DepEd Order No. 002, s. 2026 – Guidelines on the Grant of Wellness Leave for the Department of Education Personnel.
All eligible DepEd employees, including teachers and directly engaged Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) personnel, can avail themselves of the Wellness Leave (WL) for mental health care, physical activities, or a general break for a maximum of five (5) days, pursuant to Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 01, s. 2026.
🌱 Ultimately, this policy acknowledges the critical role of mental health and well-being, providing DepEd personnel with the necessary flexibility to prioritize self-care without exhausting their existing leave credits.

San Jose Elementary School actively joined the nation in celebrating the 2026 National Simultaneous Toothbrushing Day (NSTD),in line with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Health (DOH) initiative to promote good oral hygiene among Filipino children. The activity aimed to raise awareness on proper dental care practices and instill healthy habits among learners.

San Jose Elementary School successfully conducted the TANIB ( Timely and Appropriate Wellness Intervention for Well -Being of Apayao Learners) program, an initiative of DepEd Apayao.
The activity was spearheaded by Dr. Fely H. Sayoc, with the invaluable support of Mr. Perfecto Manuel and Mrs. Marilou Claveria in implementing the program's objectives.
During the event, the following health services were provided:
* Fluoride Treatments: Administered to all participating learners to promote oral hygiene.
*Dental Extractions: Performed for learners requiring urgent dental care.
