On October 9, 2023 at about 0530H the SCAS NSTP-ROTC led by CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/Asst Commandant together with the 67 Cadet Officers participated in the 16TH ANNUAL SCAS FOUNDATION DAY (GRAND PARADE).
A special thanks to the President of the Sumulong College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Antonio R. Pantisma.
The said activity has ended with a positive result.

SCAS ROTCU 6TH TRAINING WEEK
On October 6, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of one hundred twenty-nine (129) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-four (34) COQC, thirty-six (36) 2nd CL, thirty-one (31) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand. CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant, and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted the Formation of the Cadets, Drills and Ceremony and lecture that is entitled Philippine Military History, AFP Core Values, and AFP Customs and Traditions.
Further, no unwanted incident happened during the conduct of said activities.

On September 30, 2023 at about 0800 the SCAS NSTP-ROTC, led by CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/Asst Commandant together with the 15 cadet officers has conducted a CLEAN UP DRIVE together with the personnel of Baras MPS at the Baras, Rizal. They have also attended a lecture on Field Stripping were the guest lecture is TSGT CRISTOPHER ROMERO INF PA of 80IB, 2ID, Pa.
The said activity has ended with a positive result.

On September 29, 2023 at about 0400H the SCAS ROTCU led by CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant conducted the Opening Ceremony and Reception Rites of the 33 Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) class of 2023 at the training ground of Sumulong College of Arts and Sciences (SCAS).
Further, no unwanted incident happened during the conduct of said activities.
"The Reception Rites is a military tradition that marks the beginning of training for the COQC Cadets, who will later become the unit's future leaders."

SCAS ROTCU 5TH TRAINING WEEK
On September 29, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of two hundred sixteen (216) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-six (36) 2nd CL, thirty-one (31) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant, and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted Formation of Cadets, after that they have proceeded to the lecture room for the discussion which is entitled "Military Discipline and Courtesy". And the Opening Ceremony and Reception Rites of Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) class of 2023 at Sumulong College of Arts and Sciences (SCAS) Training Ground.

SCAS ROTCU 4TH TRAINING WEEK
On September 22, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of two hundred nine (209) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-six (36) 2nd CL, thirty-one (31) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted a Preliminary Examination to the basic cadets. The ADMIN NCO, PFC MARVIN D FASOY (INF)-Infantry PA, visited the said activity

On September 17, 2023 at about 0800 the SCAS NSTP-ROTC, led by CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant together with the 15 cadet officers has conducted a Feeding Program at the PUPC Baras, MPS Baras, Rizal. They has also attended a lecture on Violence Against Women and their Children which is discussed by the guest lecturer PSSG MALWAGAY.
The said activity has ended with a positive result.

On September 15, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of two hundred forty-seven (247) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-six (36) 2nd CL, thirty-one (31) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted Formation of Cadets,Rifle Ex*****on and a lecture that is about the Philippine Military History and the AFP Core Values.

On September 8, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of two hundred thirty-nine (239) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-six (36) 2nd CL, thirty-one (31) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted Formation of Cadets, Drills and Ceremonies, lecture entitled " Military History and AFP Core Values" and after all the activities is the flag retreat. The 405TH CDC DIRECTOR, LTC MARVIN A IGLESIAS (ART) PA together with the ADMIN NCO, PFC MARVIN D FASOY (INF)-Infantry PA visited the said activity.

SCAS ROTCU 1ST TRAINING WEEK
On August 25, 2023, at about 1500 hours, the SCAS ROTC Unit was composed of two hundred thirteen (213) Basic ROTC cadets, thirty-five (35) 2nd CL, thirty-three (33) 1st CL, under the leadership of CPT MANUEL A PADLAN, LPT,RCRIM, CSP, MPSA, DPA, PhD CRIM Cand, CoP RES SCAS NSTP ROTC Coordinator/ Asst Commandant and TAC CO, 1LT CHRISTOPHER LUMACANG PA. The SCAS-ROTCU conducted first an Entrance of Troops, Manual of Arms, lecture entitled "Military Leadership" and Acceptance for Promotion at the training ground of Sumulong College of Arts and Sciences (SCAS).
