MapleBear Vermont Park was honored to be visited by Mrs. Koh, along with Chinook and Friends, for Earth Day! 🌱

Mrs. Koh shared the inspiring story of Terry Fox, and the cubs were deeply moved by his courage and determination. She also delighted everyone with a fun magic show that left the cubs amazed and full of smiles.

To make the visit even more memorable, Chinook and Friends made a special appearance — filling the room with excitement as everyone danced their hearts out and enjoyed every moment together!

It was such an incredible feeling to climb up the fire truck and see what it’s like to be a real-life hero in action — truly an experience our cubs will never forget! ❤️🔥

Thank you to our brave firefighters for making our cubs’ day extra special and for keeping our community safe! 🧯

Cub Camp 2026 wasn’t just about fun… it was about building life skills that matter! 🌱

Our Cubs experienced a special overnight stay, building resilience away from the comfort of their home, while learning through real, hands-on activities: from connecting with Filipino culture by playing Tumbang Preso 🇵🇭, to gathering and sweeping dry leaves to create their own bookmarks 🍂, to practicing responsibility by washing their dishes 🧼, and preparing their very own breakfast pizza! 🍕✨

Every moment was an opportunity to grow, explore, and become more independent. Because at MapleBear Vermont Park Cub Camp, we don’t just make memories—we nurture confident, capable little individuals ready for the world. ♥️🍁🐻

Our obstacle family games were both fun and meaningful, encouraging sustainability and strengthening family teamwork. As always, our MBVP cubs embraced every challenge with excitement and curiosity. 😍

It was wonderful to see how simple reused and recycled materials turned into moments of joy and lasting memories. A gentle reminder that play can be both purposeful and fun. ♻️💛

An inspiring showcase of creativity, confidence, and environmental awareness — MBVP Green Fashion Runway 💚 and Trash to Treasure project 💎.

The Green Fashion Runway offered a refreshing take on upcycling, as MBVP families came together, bringing items like chip wrappers, mussel shells, and CDs for our creative teachers to transform into wonderful couture masterpieces.

Our Green Ambassadors, JL and Paulina, stood proudly before everyone as air and water keepers, reminding us of the little things each of us can do to create a big impact on our environment. 🌊🌬️

For our Trash to Treasure project, our cubs gave new life to old carton boxes as photo frames, plastic bottles as pencil holders, and soda caps as charming keychains, even designing the maracas from strips of old clothes. Each piece reflected their fun imagination and thoughtful approach to sustainability. ♻️

And of course, we were honored to welcome our guests from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, making the experience even more enriching. A truly proud moment for our cubs and families. 🌿✨
