Ngayong araw, ginugunita natin ang makasaysayang EDSA People Power Revolution na nagpatalsik sa diktadurang Marcos. Noong 1986, ipinakita natin sa buong mundo ang mapayapang pagkilos ng sambayanan upang maibalik ang demokrasya na ninakaw sa atin. Naging tampok ito sa mga balita sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo, at nakilala ang Pilipinas bilang tagapagtaguyod ng isang "bloodless revolution" o "non-violent revolution."

Higit sa lahat, ang pinakamahalagang aral ng EDSA ay ang katotohanang ang kapangyarihan ng sambayanan ay mas makapangyarihan kaysa sa kapangyarihang ibinibigay natin sa mga namumuno lalo na kung ito ay inaabuso.

The EDSA People Power Anniversary 2025 has been declared a Special Working Holiday by President Bongbong Marcos, the son of the ousted dictator during EDSA 1986.
