Teachers don’t just lose a student to failure; they lose a sleep-filled night and a piece of their heart. 💔

Hindi man ito laging napapansin, pero totoong nasasaktan ang mga g**o kapag hindi nagtatagumpay ang kanilang mga estudyante. Behind every failing grade is a teacher who stayed up late thinking, “Saan ako nagkulang?” or “Paano pa kita matutulungan?”

We carry our students with us even beyond the classroom. Their struggles become our worries, and their failures feel like our own.

Kaya kung minsan tahimik lang kami, hindi ibig sabihin wala kaming pakialam. The truth is, we care more than what is seen.

Tough love may not be the ideal love everybody expects from us, but it is one of the purest forms of love. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t just comforts. It corrects, guides, and strengthens.

A teacher who pushes her students beyond their limits isn’t being unkind; she believes in their potential. A parent who sets strict rules isn’t being harsh; they want their child to grow with discipline and integrity. Tough love isn’t about making life difficult. It’s about preparing loved ones for the challenges ahead.

Sometimes, love looks like a warm embrace. Other times, it looks like HONEST WORDS, HIGH EXPECTATIONS, AND FIRM GUIDANCE. And that’s okay. Because love, in its purest form, is not about making life easier. It’s about making us better.

So students, kung pinagsabihan or pinagalitan kayo ng teacher, pinarusahan ng magulang, o binigyan ng mahirap na gawain, please know that we are preparing you for your life ahead. That is because we love you and we want the best for you. ❤
