HAU School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Student Council

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 marked the start of an exciting new chapter for our Freshmen Phoenixes as they became official members of the School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences community.

The event took place on June 9, 2026, featuring two sessions: Nursing students attended from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Steffanie Nicole Hann Marquez and Alexis David as speakers, followed by Medical Technology and Radiologic Technology students from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, who heard from speakers Sofia Aeshley Ramirez and Rhonalyn Jomarie Dionisio. Through orientation activities, introductions, and valuable interactions, the students were welcomed into the SNAMS family and introduced to the faculty, student leaders, and organizations that will support them throughout their educational journey.

The assembly also honored by the presences of SNAMS faculty leaders: 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝘿. 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙘, 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡 𝙅. 𝘼𝙡𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙖, 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙖 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝘿. 𝘽𝙪𝙘𝙪𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙂. 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙖, who warmly welcomed the incoming freshmen and shared encouraging words as they embark on their academic journey.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝘾𝙎𝘾-𝙎𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙎 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙎 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙋𝙃𝙄𝙎𝙈𝙀𝙏𝙎, 𝙍𝙏𝙎𝙎, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙎. The assembly also included a presentation by the 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨' 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙨 (𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾), where representatives discussed their program and highlighted opportunities for leadership, discipline, and service for interested students.

In pursuit of inclusive and progressive student governance, priority subjects that address the needs of students, faculty, and the university are to be proposed by student leaders under the new constitution. These initiatives aim to foster a thriving academic environment through collaborative reform and support. The CSC-SNAMS Governor, Sofia Ramirez, has proposed two (2) priority subjects that highlight the value of accessible education. The following are currently submitted to the University Senate for approval and further revision:

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝟐: Institutionalization of Increasing the Percentage of Qualifiers for Academic Scholarship of Each Department's Honor Roll

In summary, these bills champion the inclusivity and leadership development of Angelites, driving Holy Angel University toward a more student-empowered future.
