To honor the 80th founding anniversary of Republic Central Colleges with the theme, “Celebrating Continued Success”, this year’s foundation and intramurals celebration was welcomed by RCCians with enthusiasm and shared warm energy, full of screams and cheers evident in the four corners of the campus.

As one of the most anticipated events for every RCCian has begun, the week-long celebration will bring much brighter days ahead!

The Republic Central Colleges (RCC) Seminar Room recently served as a platform for patriotism and youth empowerment, as students gathered for the seminar “Making Waves: Empowering Youth on the West Philippine Sea (WPS)” on November 26, 2025. Anchored on the theme “Our Seas, Our Rights, Our Future,” the activity aimed to promote awareness of national sovereignty, peace, and security.

Conducted by the 1st Civil Relations Group of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in partnership with NICA Region III and the RCC Supreme Student Council, the seminar featured discussions on the significance of the West Philippine Sea to national security and livelihood. Private Meljoy N. Arroco of the Philippine Army emphasized the role of historical evidence, international law, and responsible social media use in countering misinformation. At the same time, Ms. Jai Castillo of NICA Region III shared her powerful testimony as a former rebel, highlighting the dangers of deceptive recruitment and radicalization.

The activity concluded with an interactive advocacy session, closing remarks from Colonel Enrique G. Rafael, and the presentation of certificates of appreciation—reinforcing the vital role of youth in safeguarding the nation’s future.

The Republic Central Colleges (RCC) Seminar Room served as a space for meaningful dialogue as students and members of the academic community gathered for the Campus Peace and Development Forum and Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo on November 25, 2025. The activity was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Air Force – Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon, the Angeles City Police Office, and the RCC Supreme Student Council.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Raquel Mallari Pagnas discussed the dangers of illegal drugs, responsible activism, and the importance of critical thinking among the youth. This was followed by a forum led by 1st Lieutenant Jan Marc F. Gloria of the Philippine Air Force, who tackled the West Philippine Sea issue, emphasizing factual information and the role of the youth in countering misinformation.

The seminar concluded with the awarding of certificates of appreciation and a closing message from Lieutenant Colonel Jacqueline O. Jimenez, highlighting the youth’s vital role in promoting peace, patriotism, and national development.

No, it’s not what you think it is. School bells are ringing, and the birds are chirping. The Christmas lights may be coming down, firecrackers slowly getting over, but it’s a great restart to continue the semester with a fresher mind and a rested body.

The holiday season has finally come to an end, and we step back into our routines — lessons waiting, quizzes piling, and new goals to unlock through the four corners of the room. The comfort of home and rest slowly fades as we return to classrooms and routines. It may not be easy getting back on track, but this is where we continue what we have started.

So, instead, let us greet those familiar faces with a Happy New Year and begin the year 2026 with greater determination to strive.

In observance of World AIDS Day, the RCC Supreme Student Council (SSC) and the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), in coordination with the Angeles City Health Office (ACHO), will conduct an HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar.

This activity aims to deepen students' understanding of HIV and AIDS by discussing prevention, the realities of stigma, and the importance of community support. Through this seminar, the SSC, OSA, and ACHO hope to equip students with credible information and the confidence to promote compassion, safety, and responsible choices within their community.

This is also an opportunity to broaden students' knowledge, engage in meaningful conversations, and contribute to building a more informed and empathetic society.
