Today, October 5, 2024, we celebrate the incredible individuals who have touched the lives of countless students—the teachers of Sto. Domingo Integrated School. We pay tribute to the dedication, passion, and resilience of our Elementary Department educators who shape the minds and hearts of the future.

Teachers are more than just conveyors of knowledge; they are role models, mentors, and guides who inspire students to dream big, work hard, and become the best versions of themselves. Every day, they show up with unwavering commitment, helping young learners navigate challenges and celebrating every milestone, big or small.

In the words of one of our students, "My teacher is my hero because they always believe in me, even when I doubt myself." This simple yet profound statement captures the essence of what makes teachers truly heroic. They see potential where others may not, they nurture it, and they ignite a lifelong love for learning.

Throughout the years, our teachers have faced countless challenges—adapting to new ways of teaching, meeting the diverse needs of their students, and continuing their mission despite the changing educational landscape. Yet, their passion remains steadfast. Whether it's in a traditional classroom setting or through virtual lessons, they continue to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in their students.

Today, we honor their tireless efforts and celebrate the impact they have on shaping the future. To all the teachers of Sto. The Intramurals 2024 of Sto. Domingo Integrated School for the Elementary Department concluded with a thrilling awarding ceremony last September 27, 2024. After two days of intense competition, the teams were finally recognized for their efforts and sportsmanship.

The Red Warriors dominated the events, showcasing teamwork and skill, securing their place as the over-all champions of this year’s intramurals!

With their strength and determination, the Blue Eagles soared high, finishing as the 1st runner-up.

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the 𝐒𝐭𝐨. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 kicked off its much-anticipated 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 for elementary students, showcasing vibrant team spirit and athleticism. The students were grouped into four teams—𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬—each determined to bring home the championship.

The competition opened with exciting 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 matches, where both 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 teams gave their all, showcasing their agility and teamwork on the court. Simultaneously, the intensity rose in the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 (𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬) games, with each team demonstrating skill, speed, and strategy in every play.

In the fast-paced world of 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧, both 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 matches brought out the sharp reflexes and endurance of the athletes, proving that precision and perseverance are key to dominating the court.

Meanwhile, in 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, selected participants exhibited their strength and speed in various events. From sprints to long-distance runs, the competitors displayed remarkable physical prowess and determination.

For the younger students from 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟑, the traditional 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐢 added a joyful touch to the day. The primary pupils enjoyed Filipino games like patintero, tumbang preso, and luksong tinik, filling the school grounds with laughter and excitement.

The first day of Intramurals 2024 not only delivered thrilling competition but also strengthened the camaraderie and sportsmanship among the students. With more events to come, the excitement continues to build as each team fights for victory in the coming days!

Leading the procession were the 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐃𝐈𝐒 and the vibrant 𝐒𝐃𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐲𝐫𝐞, followed by the four competing teams: 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, and 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. Each team was accompanied by their assigned teachers, who proudly marched alongside their students, reflecting the excitement for the two-day sports event.

By 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌, the parade concluded, and participants gathered at the 𝐒𝐃𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 for the official assembly. After the introduction of the school's 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, each team proudly performed their 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥, setting the tone for the competitive and fun-filled days ahead.

Brigada Eskwela 2024: Unity for a Resilient School at Sto. Domingo Integrated School

July 22, 2024 - Under the theme "Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan" (Unity for a Resilient School), Sto. Domingo Integrated School successfully launched Brigada Eskwela 2024. The kick-off program was attended by notable personalities and community members, including Angeles City Mayor Carmelo G. Lazatin Jr. and Sto. Domingo Barangay Captain Maria Marcia B. Arceo, along with her council members.

The event began with a vibrant parade led by the SDIS Drum and Lyre Band, accompanied by teachers and various SDIS stakeholders. The subsequent program was held at the SDIS Covered Court, starting with an opening prayer by Luzviminda R. Sagum. The Drum and Lyre Band performed the national anthem, marking the official start of the program.

School Principal Mr. Allan R. Traquina delivered a warm welcome address and an inspirational message from Mrs. Pricila G. Repato. Mr. Jun Deza, the SPTA President, conveyed unity and dedication. Barangay Captain Maria Marcia B. Arceo accepted the challenge presented to Brigada Eskwela.

The program concluded with a meaningful closing remark from Nicolas H. Contreras Jr., emphasizing the importance of cooperation for the betterment of the school. Emcee Nikko K. Evaristo skillfully hosted the entire program.
