𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 proudly took part as one of the key collaborators in the recently concluded “𝘈𝘗𝘈𝘎: 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘸 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵, 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘭𝘢𝘸 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯” a youth heritage forum spearheaded by the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 (𝐔𝐒𝐓) – 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨) in partnership with the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭. The event was held on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, at the 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐧: 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.

This cultural initiative brought together passionate young individuals to celebrate and preserve the city’s rich culinary and cultural identity. Representing Mabalacat City College, the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐌) students from the 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐈𝐇𝐓𝐌) showcased an inspiring culinary presentation that featured authentic Mabalaqueño dishes, recipes that carry stories of heritage, family, and community.

Under the dynamic leadership of 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨 and the expert guidance of the 𝐈𝐇𝐓𝐌 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, the students demonstrated not only their culinary skills but also their genuine hospitality spirit. Their warm service, teamwork, and creativity embodied the essence of being true ambassadors of Mabalacat City College rooted in tradition, driven by excellence, and guided by service from the heart.

The forum was a collaborative effort among 𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨, 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, and the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭, supported by Helios Productions, a student events organization from UST. The gathering highlighted how academic institutions and local communities can work hand in hand to keep cultural traditions alive while empowering the youth to become stewards of local heritage.

Their leadership and commitment to transformative education inspire MCC students and faculty to take part in meaningful experiences that honor local culture and showcase the excellence of Mabalaqueño talent.
