Do you still remember the meaning behind our national flag's colors, sun and stars?

The flag's color scheme also gives the Philippines flag meaning. The white section stands for liberty, equality, and fraternity. The red portion represents courage and patriotism, while the blue stands for justice and peace.

The three stars represent the three main islands of Luzon, Panay, and Mindanao. The eight rays of the sun stand for eight Philippine provinces that were instrumental in the revolt against Spanish colonial rule.

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! 🇵🇭

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 anibersaryo ng Proklamasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa pagpupugay sa katapangan at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani na nagbukas ng landas tungo sa ating kasarinlan.
