DADDA NHS successfully conducted its First Term General SPTA Meeting Cum Mass Induction Ceremony, bringing together parents, teachers, student leaders, and community stakeholders in a shared commitment to educational excellence and school development.
The highlight of the event was the Mass Induction of Officers, officiated by Hon. Elpidio R. Rendon, who inspired the newly inducted leaders with his message of dedicated and selfless service. In his speech, he emphasized that a true leader should always be available to serve, saying, โWherever you are needed, no matter where the place and when is the time, I will be there.โ His words encouraged the officers to lead with commitment, responsibility, and a heart for service.
The mass induction included officers from various school organizations, namely the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), and the School Governance Council (SGC).
Following the General SPTA Meeting, Homeroom SPTA Meetings and the distribution of report cards for learners from Grades 7 to 12 were simultaneously conducted in their respective classrooms. Parents and advisers discussed learners' academic performance, progress, and learning concerns, fostering stronger home-school collaboration for the success of every learner.
During the meeting, SPTA Chairman Mr. Maximo Reyes presented the accomplishments of the SPTA during the First Term and outlined the plans and initiatives for the Second Term. He also encouraged parents to actively support the "A-Parent-A-Day Program" under Project SPACE of DADDA, highlighting the important role of parents in creating a safe, nurturing, and conducive learning environment. Furthermore, he shared efforts to seek assistance from the Office of the Mayor for the provision of needed facilities to further improve the school's services and learning conditions.
Meanwhile, Hon. Noel L. Verbo, Barangay Captain of Magogod and a member of the School Governance Council, reaffirmed the commitment of the local government and stakeholders to continuously support the school's programs, projects, and future endeavors through strong collaboration and partnership.
The successful conduct of the activity reflects the collective dedication of the school, parents, student leaders, and community stakeholders in promoting quality education and holistic development for all learners.
