Because every story starts with a word, every conversation starts with a voice, and every reader starts somewhere.

Huge congratulations to us, 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗜𝗜–𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦, for successfully completing our teaching demonstration for 𝟮𝗣-𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗗𝟬𝟭: 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆! 👏

Demo teaching is 𝗡𝗢 𝗝𝗢𝗞𝗘. Mahal, magastos, draining, at nakakapagod talaga. But this demo reminded us that teaching young children to communicate and develop early literacy skills takes more than simply knowing how to read and write—it takes 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘, 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦. 💛

In Early Oracy and Literacy, we learned that learning can begin with the simplest things—a child 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬, 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗, 𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗚, 𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔. 🗣️🎶📚

Through 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗦, 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦, 𝗩𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦, and interactive literacy experiences, we discovered how important it is to give children opportunities to 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡, 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞, 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗗, 𝗔𝗦𝗞, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗦.

Just like the ECE song “Chikading, chikading, lilipad-lipad” 🐦—we soared through every challenge! From printing endless story materials and visual aids, preparing props and activities, practicing our storytelling, to staying up late perfecting our lesson plans, 𝗪𝗘 𝗚𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗔𝗟𝗟.

And behind every lesson was a reminder of why early literacy matters: 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦—𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦.

Yes, it was expensive.

Yes, it was exhausting.

What started as ideas, designs, drafts, and “Wait, paano natin ’to gagawin?” moments finally came to life! 🎨

𝗜𝗜𝗜–𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦 have officially completed our teaching demonstration for 𝟮𝗣-𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗗𝟬𝟰: 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆-𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱! 🎉

This demo was more than just presenting materials. It challenged us to think like future educators who know that technology becomes meaningful when it is used with 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘, 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬, and the needs of young learners in mind.

Behind every presentation were countless hours of planning, designing, editing, preparing, troubleshooting, and sometimes staring at our materials wondering if they were actually working.

But seeing our ideas turn into something children could interact with made every revision 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗧. 🌈

From digital resources to hands-on materials, we experienced firsthand how 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 + 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 = 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚.

A big thank you to 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗮𝘆-𝗔𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝘄𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗮𝗴 for guiding us throughout this experience and helping us explore the possibilities of technology in early childhood education. 👨‍🏫

Who knew that 𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦 could bring this much creativity, pressure, laughter, and “Wait, tama ba ’yung answer?” moments?

But here we are, 𝗜𝗜𝗜–𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦, officially done with our teaching demonstration for 𝟮𝗣-𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗗𝟬𝟮: 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀! 🎉👏

This demo challenged us to look beyond worksheets and numbers—to understand how young children learn Mathematics through 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚, and how they learn Science by 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗪𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚.

It wasn’t always easy.

There were lesson plans to revise, materials to prepare, activities to test, props to organize, and demonstrations to rehearse. There were moments when our brains were doing more calculations than the actual Mathematics lesson.

But somewhere between the preparation, the nerves, and the classroom chaos, we realized something important:

𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦𝗡’𝗧 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥. 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗦. 💛

🎭 DAY 4 ATTENDANCE CHECK 🎭

✨ A day of culture, rhythm, and victory! ✨

Day 4 of our university celebration was truly one for the books as we witnessed the vibrant performances and rich traditions showcased during the Indakan sa Pamantasan and the Cultural Show. From colorful presentations to breathtaking performances, the day reminded us of the beauty of unity, creativity, and cultural pride. 💃🕺🎭

But what made this day even more special was a moment that filled every Aurelia Sage with pride and joy. 🎀

🏆 III BECED – 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 proudly secured the title of 2nd 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 in the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐩-𝐇𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 🏆
