Abuyo National High School proudly welcomes all learners as we officially open the school year 2026–2027. As the school gates reopen and classrooms come alive once more, we begin another meaningful journey filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve.

The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to all visitors and stakeholders who joined this significant occasion. We are especially honored by the presence of our District Steward Ma’am Bermelita E. Guillermo, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) of the Department of Education – Schools Division Office of Nueva Vizcaya, who conducted the monitoring, evaluation, and provision of technical assistance for the opening of classes for school Year 2026–2027. We also express our sincere gratitude to Sir Donald S. Calma, EdD, District In-Charge, whose support and guidance continue to strengthen our commitment to educational excellence. Their visit reflects the department’s commitment to ensuring quality learning environments and effective school operations at the start of the academic year.

Likewise, we acknowledge the exemplary leadership of Ma’am Melanie I. De Jesus, School Head, whose dedication and vision inspire the entire school community to strive for continuous growth and success.

Further, this momentous opening would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Abuyo National High School. Their commitment and hard work have ensured a welcoming, safe, and learner-centered environment where every student can thrive.

As we begin this new academic year, may every learner embrace the challenges ahead with determination, every teacher continue to inspire with passion, and every member of the school community work together toward a common goal--educational excellence.

Through collaborative discussions, workshops, and learning sessions, participants deepened their understanding of curriculum standards, assessment practices, and instructional planning.

This professional development initiative, through the guidance of the school head, Melanie I. De Jesus, reflects the teachers’ commitment to continuous learning and educational excellence in delivering quality, relevant, and responsive education to all learners.

Abuyo National High School successfully conducted the ARAL Summer Program Graduation Ceremony on June 2, recognizing the achievements and dedication of the ARAL learners who actively participated throughout the program.

The event celebrated the learners' growth in reading, numeracy, and other essential skills developed during the summer sessions. It also highlighted the collective efforts of tutors, parents, and school personnel in making the program meaningful and successful.

Congratulations to all ARAL graduates for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to learning.

Bayanihan in Action: Abuyo NHS Kicks Off Brigada Eskwela 2026!

​Abuyo National High School officially commenced its Brigada Eskwela journey by participating in the Division Brigada Kick-off, proudly hosted by the District of Alfonso Castaneda!

​The spirit of volunteerism and strong partnership was on full display as our dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students, and selfless community volunteers joined hands. Together, we are painting, cleaning, and preparing our classrooms to ensure a safe, welcoming, and conducive learning environment for the upcoming school opening.

Abuyo National High School successfully conducted the Pre School Year Meeting with a 100% attendance of all teaching and non-teaching personnel, signifying their commitment, professionalism, and collective dedication in preparation for the opening of the new academic year.

The activity formally commenced with the opening program, which included the registration of participants, AVP presentations of the National Anthem, Prayer, Vizcaya Hymn, and QMS. This was followed by the opening talk delivered by Sir Reinolds J. Olbinado, the presentation of participants facilitated by Ma’am Rosalie V. Rapinian, the discussion of house rules by Ma’am Mary Jane B. Carrasco, and an inspirational message from the school head, Ma’am Melanie I. De Jesus.

During the Meeting Proper, important updates and agenda were comprehensively discussed, including updates on ARAL Enhancement, Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off and School Best Practices, BE Work Plan and Accomplishment Report, Teaching Assignments, the 3-Term School Calendar, Class Programs and Subject Offerings for JHS and SHS, Teachers’ Individual Class Schedules, Lesson Planning and Budget of Work, Review of the Learners’ Handbook, SPLAT Orientation, Presentation of School Finances, and Employee Records.

The meeting concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Ma’am Joyce B. Abellara, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, accountability, and excellence in ensuring a productive and successful school year ahead for Abuyo National High School.
