LOOK | QUARTERLY NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILLS (QNSED)!

With the leadership of Hon. John Kenneth M. Trinidad, Municipal Mayor of Oas, Albay, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Oas (MDRRMO Oas) headed by Engr. Joseph R. Pulvinar in coordination with the Oas Municipal Police Station (Oas MPS) successfully conducted the 1st Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 on March 12, 2026 at Oas Community College headed by Dr. Edwina N. Sergio.

The activity aimed to enhance earthquake preparedness and strengthen disaster awareness among students, faculty, and staff. Participants actively performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and practiced proper evacuation protocols to ensure readiness in case of a real earthquake emergency.

This initiative highlights the strong collaboration between the LGU and local responders in promoting a culture of preparedness and ensuring the safety of the community.

The Oas Community College extends its appreciation to all participating agencies for their cooperation and commitment in building a safer and more resilient Oas.
