The activity featured PCpl. Ma. Diane C. Bariso of the Philippine National Police (PNP) as the resource speaker. Held under the theme "Safe Schools, Safe Learners: Strengthening Awareness Against Bullying and Violence," PCpl. Bariso discussed the different forms of bullying, the legal implications of bullying-related offenses, and the responsibilities of learners in fostering a culture of respect and accountability both inside and outside the school.
The campaign was organized to reinforce key learning competencies in several subjects, including Media and Information Literacy (MIL), Empowerment Technologies, Understanding Culture, Society and Politics (UCSP), Life and Career Skills, and Introduction to the Philosophy of the Human Person. The discussions emphasized responsible use of social media, digital ethics, online safety, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and ethical decision-making.
The Anti-Bullying Campaign was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Tinopan High School administration headed by Ms. Retchel Boneo, School Head, the faculty members, and the Rapu-Rapu Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PMAJ Edwin B. Apun, Officer-In-Charge. The school also extends its sincere appreciation to the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) of Tinopan High School for preparing and providing meals for the invited guests and personnel, whose support contributed to the success of the activity.
Through this initiative, Tinopan High School continues to strengthen its commitment to creating a learning environment where learners feel safe, valued, and empowered. The Campaign served as a reminder that preventing bullying is a shared responsibility.
