Our School Shines at Coron Festival in Tiwi, Albay
Tiwi, Albay - Our school proudly participated in the Coron Festival On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest held on August 7, 2025. The Coron Festival is an annual celebration in Tiwi that honors the town's renowned pottery industry, with "coron" being the local term for clay pots.
Our school was represented by Marco Ian Clavecillas, a talented Grade 6 pupil, with the guidance of his dedicated coach, Myra Sheila L. Burce. Their participation in this community-wide event not only showcased Marco's artistic skills but also our school's commitment to engaging in local cultural festivities.
We extend our congratulations to both Marco and Ms. Burce for their outstanding effort and for representing our school with such distinction.

Lourdes Elementary School Holds Colorful Culminating Activity for Nutrition Month 2025

Lourdes, July 31, 2025 – Lourdes Elementary School successfully concluded its month-long Nutrition Month celebration with a vibrant and educational culminating activity on July 31, 2025. The event, which highlighted the importance of healthy eating and balanced nutrition, brought together students, teachers, and parents in a festive and meaningful gathering.

The day began with a lively parade around the school grounds, featuring students in creative costumes representing various food groups. Each grade level showcased themed banners and props, promoting this year’s nutrition advocacy.

Following the parade was a colorful and informative food display. Classrooms and grade levels presented a wide array of nutritious dishes, categorized by food groups such as Go, Grow, and Glow foods. The exhibit not only reflected the students' understanding of balanced meals but also encouraged creativity and teamwork.

A simple yet heartwarming program capped the celebration. Students performed skits, songs, and dances that reinforced messages about healthy living and proper nutrition. The culminating activity served as a reminder that learning about health and nutrition can be fun, engaging, and community-driven. Lourdes Elementary School continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing healthy minds and bodies through education and celebration.
