Isa na namang pagkakataon ang araw na ito upang alalahanin na ang mga Pilipino at ang Pilipinas ay malaya dahil sa 𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤 ng ating mga ninuno, ng ating mga bayani na nagpakita ng 𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙨 at 𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜 ng dugong Pilipino, at magpahanggang sa ngayon na mga Pilipinong patuloy na 𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣 at 𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣 alang-alang sa ating kasarinlan.
