We regret to inform everyone that the Vet Mission scheduled on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 has been 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗. We understand that many of you have already registered, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This decision was made due to the following reasons:

1. The recent ashfall affecting the municipality of Guinobatan, posing potential health risks.
2. The need to comply with the official school memorandum in accordance with Office Memorandum No. 118, s. 2026 issued by Bicol University prioritizing student safety.
3. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and partner communities.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

The 𝐕𝐊𝐕–𝐕𝐋𝐕 𝐏𝐬𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 will be conducting a face mask and PPE distribution drive 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚. Our members will be walking around the community to distribute supplies to both Bicol University Guinobatan students and the general public.

Distributions will start at 𝟐𝐏𝐌 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞.

This initiative is in response to the recent ash fall caused by the eruption of Mount Mayon, which has heavily affected the Municipality of Guinobatan. It aims to promote safety, health, and well-being for everyone in the community.

The face masks and PPE were generously donated by the 𝐕𝐊𝐕–𝐕𝐋𝐕 𝐌𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫.

🐾 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗦 𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 🦠

Rabies remains a 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 affecting both animals and humans. This month serves as a reminder that 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 are the most effective ways to protect our communities.

✔️ 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 your dogs and cats regularly
✔️ 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 pets under proper care and supervision
✔️ 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 suspected rabid animals to local authorities

In case of an animal bite or scratch:
🚿 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 immediately with soap and running water for 15 minutes
🏥 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 without delay

Through 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, we can move closer to a future 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀.
