Pili National High School holds its Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) elections to choose new student leaders for the School Year 2026-2027, last March 4, 2026.

May Zharla Baloloy, SSLG Adviser, spearheaded the activities involved such as submission of COC, room-to-room campaign, miting de avance, and election proper.

Said event was conducted following the guidelines set by Division Memorandum No. 101, s. 2026, which outlines the process for selecting student officers.

SHOWCASE OF SKILLS. Students of PNHS showcased their talents and skills in the different performances shown during the Moving Forward, One Pilinian Shines held at Bacacay Covered Court, Bacacay, Albay, Feb. 19.

Said J & S Ball was a huge success, with students happily showing off their skills and talents through performances including traditional "balagtasan", heartfelt spoken poetry, exciting debate, and energetic dance numbers, and many others.

Parents, faculty members, and stakeholders, enjoyed seeing their learners shine, making it a truly memorable event that celebrated their creativity and hard work.

GUEST SPEAKER. Darius Batalla, a distinguished alumnus of our school, who graduated magna cm laude from Bicol University, served as the honored guest speaker during the Moving Forward: One Pilinian Shines--Showcasing of Talents and Skills
held at the Bacacay Multi-Purpose Covered Court , February 19.

Now a dedicated teacher, he embodies a true inspiration for all learners. His journey and accomplishments served as a powerful testament to hard work and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.

READY 2 B RECLASSED. The secondary school teachers of Bacacay signed the Reclassification Form for Teaching Position (RFTP). This marks a crucial step in their career progression, formally submitting their applications for review and consideration, Feb. 13.

Concurrently, the Secretariat provided the school heads with the teachers' ratings. They meticulously deliberated the said ratings to determine the final ranking of the teachers for reclassification.

DEMO TEACHING. Simultaneous demonstration teaching sessions are being conducted across various secondary schools in Bacacay as part of the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) evaluation, Feb. 11-12, 2026.

The Expanded Career Progression (ECP) process continued focusing on the validation of Non-Classroom Observable Indicators (NCOIs) and conducting interviews for the remaining schools in the Municipality, Feb. 10.

The day also featured demonstration teaching sessions of educators from San Pablo National High School.
