❀️HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BELOVED MA’AM Mina Cora πŸ₯³ πŸ’š

To our beloved Professor, Thesis Adviser, Mentor,Assistant Dean, and Ma’am Cora,

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday, but also the wonderful person you have been to the Social Work Department and to the many students whose lives you have touched.

FROM THE SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS-
To us, you have always been more than just a professor. You have been a mentor who patiently guided us, an adviser who stood beside us through the struggles of our Learning journey, and a person who made us feel that learning does not have to come with fear. Thank you for being the kind of professor who is so calm, understanding, and approachable that students never have to be afraid of making mistakes. Your gentle way of teaching reminds us that it is okay not to know everything, because what matters is having someone willing to guide us until we understand. thank you for continuing to guide us. Thank you for every correction given with kindness, every piece of advice shared with sincerity, every encouragement when we felt uncertain, and every moment when you made us believe that we were capable of becoming better Social Workers.

FROM YOUR PREVIOUS STUDENTS AND THE GRADUATES WHO ARE NOW PROFESSIONALS AND REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKERS-
Thank you for being part of the journey that brought us to where we are today. Some of the lessons you taught us may not have been written in our books or included in our examinations, but they became lessons we carried with us as we entered the profession. Your patience, dedication, and belief in your students became part of the foundation that helped us become the Social Workers we are today.

Your impact goes beyond the classroom. You have become part of the stories of the students you have taught. Years from now, when many of us finally become Registered Social Workers, we will look back and remember the professors who helped shape usβ€”and your name will surely be one of those names we will remember with gratitude.

On your special day, may God bless your heart with peace, your soul with happiness, and your mind with wisdom and strength. May He continue to bless you with good health, meaningful years, and countless reasons to smile. May all the kindness and love you have given to your students return to you a thousand times over.

Wishing you all the beautiful things that this worldβ€”and even more than this world could ever give. May your life continue to be a blessing to everyone around you, just as you have been a blessing to generations of Social Work students.

From your former Students, your Present Students,JSWAP/CSWSSC Officers, and the Social Work family you have helped build, Thank you, Ma’am Cora, for being you. ❀️

In Loving Memory of Sir Gerard Del Rio 🀍

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Gerard Del Rio β€” a cherished educator, mentor, and guiding light to generations of students. His unwavering dedication to teaching and his profound commitment to shaping young minds left a lasting mark on our school community.

Sir Del Rio had a rare gift: he made the study of law not only understandable, but meaningful. He empowered us to know our rights, to think critically, and to stand confidently in our convictions. Through his patience, kindness, and generosity of spirit, he inspired us to pursue excellence with integrity and compassion.

More than a teacher, he was a mentor who believed in our potential even when we doubted ourselves. His lessons extended far beyond the classroom β€” instilling values, courage, and a deep respect for justice that will stay with us for a lifetime.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the privilege of having learned from him. His legacy lives on in every life he shaped, every dream he encouraged, and every voice he empowered.

Rest in peace, Sir. You will always be remembered, honored, and deeply missed. πŸ™
