𝙲𝚂𝙹𝙰 𝙾𝚞𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚖 2026 🤝🌿

The Outreach Program was held at St. Francis Learning Center in Nibangon, Subic, Zambales, where students, faculty members, and administrators gathered with members of the Aeta community for a day of meaningful interaction and service.

The program began with an opening prayer led by the SCA President, Athaena Dela Cruz, followed by a warm welcome message from the school director, Sr. Mafran Borje, SFIC. Students from different organizations, including the Student Catholic Action (SCA), also participated in the activity as part of the school’s mission of service.

The program continued with special presentations prepared by the students. Members of SSLG and SCA performed a lively dance number, while the College Department shared their musical talents. These performances brought joy, smiles, and entertainment to the children and members of the community. 🎶💃

An inspirational message was then delivered by the school president, Rev. Fr. Melchor C. Braga, who encouraged everyone to continue living out the values of generosity, unity, and compassion through simple acts of service.

One of the highlights of the outreach program was the sharing of goods, where rice and grocery items were distributed to the families in the community. This act symbolized the spirit of solidarity and the willingness of the school community to share their blessings with others. 🍚🛍️

The program concluded with a response message from representatives of St. Francis Learning Center, followed by a bonding activity with the Aeta community through a short tour of their area. This moment allowed everyone to engage in meaningful conversations, experience cultural exchange, and strengthen the friendship between the school community and the Aeta learners.

Indeed, the outreach activity became a meaningful experience that promoted kindness, generosity, and a deeper understanding of the importance of serving others. ✨

Yesterday, the whole community of Colegio San Jose de Alaminos gathered as one family of faith to celebrate Ash Wednesday, the solemn beginning of the Lenten season.

With humble hearts, students, teachers, and staff received ashes on their foreheads, a powerful reminder that we are called to repentance, prayer, fasting, and acts of charity. As the priest marked our foreheads with the sign of the cross, we were reminded: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

This meaningful celebration was made even more special through the service and dedication of the Student Catholic Action, who faithfully served during the Mass. Their willingness to assist reflects the true spirit of servant leadership and love for the Church. 💒💜

Ash Wednesday is not only a tradition, it is a call to renewal. A call to change. A call to grow closer to God. As we enter this sacred season of Lent, may we walk together in faith, humility, and hope. 🌿

✨ “Lent is not about giving up something, but about giving more of ourselves to God.”

🙏Lord God, as we begin this Lenten journey, purify our hearts and renew our spirits. Teach us to pray sincerely, to fast with purpose, and to love without condition. May the ashes on our foreheads remind us to live with humility and faith each day. Amen. 🙏✨

This morning, our school community of Colegio San Jose de Alaminos (CSJA) officially opened the Bible Awareness Week, a meaningful activity that reminds us of the importance of the Word of God in our daily life.

The launching was filled with prayer, reflection, and faith. It helped the CSJA community remember that the Bible is not only a book, but a guide that teaches love, hope, and truth.

The Student Catholic Action (SCA) took an active role in the launching by helping in leading the community in prayer. Through this, SCA showed its mission of serving and guiding others closer to God.

As we celebrate Bible Awareness Week, may the CSJA community take time to read, listen to, and live the Word of God each day.
