Division Youth Convergence Program:
Student Leadership Program and Mental Health Program

The Federated SSLG and SELG of Alabel represented our home municipality in this year's Youth Convergence Program hosted by the Division of Sarangani.

In response to the Department of Education's commitment to promoting learner well-being, inclusive education, and a positive learning environment, thisoffice, through the Youth Formation Section and Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) of School Health Section, will conduct the Division Learners Convergence on June 4 - 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Salakit Elementary School,
Kiamba, Sarangani Province (SGOD_2025_074).

Student-leaders participated with various activities from spiritual cell groups, talent night, Lectures -Psychological and Medical First Aid, Sports Club, ARH, Barkada Kontra Droga (Bisyo)-, Peace Walk etc.

The local government unit of Alabel has announced a class suspension on March 31, 2025, due to heavy rainfall and the observance of ๐„๐ข๐'๐ฅ ๐…๐ข๐ญ๐ซ.

Furthermore, April 1, 2025, has been declared a regular holiday nationwide in accordance with Proclamation No. 839, issued by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. This proclamation aligns with Republic Act No. 9177, which amends Section 26, Chapter 7, Book I of Executive Order No. 292, recognizing Eid'l Fitr as a national holiday.

MFSSLG President-elect Mr. Franscine Bancaerin and MFSSLG Vice President-elect Ms. Ethel Nicole Talaugon were elected as Division Federated SSLG officers as President and Treasurer respectively.
