🇵🇭𝟒𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The 47th National Reservist Week Culmination Ceremony was participated in by Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists from across the Philippines, united in the spirit of service, readiness, and commitment to the nation.

The ceremony was graced by the 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐂 𝐓𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐎 𝐉𝐫. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞, who emphasized the importance of readiness, discipline, unity, and dedication in serving the country.

Under the leadership of 𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔–𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐎 𝐆 𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐌 𝐎𝐒 (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, and under the guidance of 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐍, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 actively participated in the said ceremony.

The participation included personnel from the 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒 “𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐑” 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐘, 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐅𝐁𝐍, 𝐒𝐅𝐑(𝐀), 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐌, 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐇 𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐌𝐀 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 / 𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, with 𝐏𝐟𝐜 𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐙, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫

Also participating were the Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists from Alabat Island, who stood in unity with the SLSU–Alabat ROTC Unit and the 15th Special Forces in support of the celebration.

The National Reservist Week highlights the readiness, discipline, unity, and dedication of Reservists who remain committed to serving the country whenever called upon.

Under the leadership of 𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔–𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐎 𝐆 𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐌 𝐎𝐒 (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, and under the guidance of 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐍, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 successfully conducted the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for ROTC Cadets on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Following the examination, an Information and Advocacy Campaign was conducted with the theme “𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬, 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
The lecture was led by 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒 "𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐑" 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐘, 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐅𝐁𝐍, 𝐒𝐅𝐑(𝐀), 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔–𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐇 𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐌𝐀, 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, together with 𝐏𝐟𝐜 𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐙, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, as part of the team that carried out the Information and Advocacy Campaign. The discussion emphasized the importance of our seas, the Philippines’ rights over its maritime territories, and the responsibility of every Filipino to protect and preserve our marine resources for the present and future generations.

Through this activity, the cadets further strengthened their awareness of patriotism, national security, and their role as responsible citizens and future reservists who are prepared to serve and protect the nation.

𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰, 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, matagumpay na isinagawa ng 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 ang Ika-5 na Pagsasanay na nakatuon sa mga paksang Military Courtesy and Discipline at Military Justice. Ang mga paksa ay tinalakay ni 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥 𝐃 𝐔𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬),

Binigyang-diin sa pagsasanay ang kahalagahan ng wastong kagandahang-asal sa militar, disiplina, paggalang, at propesyonalismo sa pagtupad ng mga tungkulin. Tinalakay rin ang Military Justice o Katarungang Militar, na nagbibigay-diin sa pananagutan, pagsunod sa batas, at wastong pagkilos alinsunod sa mga alituntunin at regulasyon ng militar.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga araling ito, patuloy na nahuhubog sa mga kadete ang disiplina, pananagutan, integridad, at pamumuno, na mahalaga sa pagiging responsable, marangal, at handang lingkod ng bayan.

PMA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2026 | NCR, REGION 4A-B AND REGION 5 CLUSTER

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has released the schedule, testing centers, venues, and guidelines for the NCR, Region 4A-B and Region 5 Cluster of the PMA Entrance Examination 2026, scheduled on 22–23 August 2026.

Aspiring cadets should carefully review their designated testing center and venue, prepare all required documents, follow the prescribed dress code, and arrive early. Please refer to the poster for the complete details.

𝗟𝘆𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘀-𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 Campus Director at NSTP Coordinator, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Southern Luzon State University – Alabat ROTC Unit ang Ika-3 at Ika-4 na Pagsasanay sa ROTC noong Sabado, Agosto 15, 2026.

Sa isinagawang talakayan, tinalakay ang Pangunahing Pagpapahalaga ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas, na pinangunahan ni 𝗣𝘃𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀), Binigyang-diin dito ang kahalagahan ng pagiging marangal, tapat, responsable, at makabayan sa bawat tungkulin.

Sinundan ito ng talakayan tungkol sa Kasaysayang Militar ng Pilipinas at Seksyon 5: Organisasyon ng AFP at Philippine Army, na tinalakay ni 𝗣𝘃𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗔 𝗘𝗱𝗲𝗺 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀), Tinalakay rito ang mahahalagang pangyayari at ambag ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas sa kasaysayan at pagtatanggol sa bansa, gayundin ang pagkakaayos, mga sangay, at istruktura ng AFP at Philippine Army. Layunin ng talakayan na mapalalim ang kaalaman at pagpapahalaga ng mga kadete sa kasaysayan, organisasyon, mga tungkulin, at sakripisyo ng ating mga sundalo para sa pagtatanggol ng bansa.

Matapos ang talakayan, isinagawa ang mga pagsasanay sa pag-drill, kung saan hinasa ang disiplina, koordinasyon, pagsunod sa utos, tamang tindig, at pagkakaisa ng mga kadete. Sa pamamagitan ng mga drill, higit na napalakas ang kanilang pagiging alerto, disiplinado, at handang sumunod sa mga itinakdang alituntunin.

Sa espesyal na araw na ito, buong puso naming ipinapaabot ang aming pagbati sa inyong kaarawan. Ipinagmamalaki namin ang inyong dedikasyon, disiplina, at propesyonalismo sa pagtupad ng inyong tungkulin sa SLSU–Alabat ROTC Unit. Isinagawa rin ang Pagkakabit ng mga Ranggo sa pangunguna ni 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗠 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 (𝗜𝗻𝗳) 𝗣𝗔, bilang simbolo ng pagtanggap ng mga opisyal sa kanilang mga bagong ranggo at sa mas mabigat na pananagutan sa paglilingkod. Kasunod nito ang Seremonya ng Pagsusuot ng mga Ranggo bilang pagkilala sa dedikasyon at natatanging paglilingkod ng mga opisyal ng yunit sa kanilang pagtanggap ng mga bagong ranggo at mas mabibigat na responsibilidad.

Bilang pagtatapos, naghatid ng Pangwakas na Pananalita si 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗗 𝗨𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀), Assistant Admin NCO/Instructor, na hinikayat ang mga kadete na manatiling tapat sa kanilang tungkulin at isabuhay ang mga pagpapahalaga ng ROTC sa paglilingkod sa pamantasan, komunidad, at bayan.

Matapos ang oryentasyon, nagsagawa ng talakayan si 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗗 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) tungkol sa programa ng Philippine Army ROTC, kung saan ipinaliwanag niya ang layunin, kahalagahan, at mga oportunidad na hatid ng programa sa mga kadete.

Sa hapon, isinagawa ng mga kadete ang pagsasanay sa mga pangunahing drill bilang bahagi ng kanilang pundasyon sa pagsasanay militar.

𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔–𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On May 14, 2026, the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)–Alabat campus proudly hosted the Advance and Basic ROTC Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone for the cadets and cadettes who successfully completed their training. The event celebrated not only their hard work, but also the discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment they developed throughout the program.

A total of fifty-five (55) Basic ROTC cadets and cadettes, along with four (4) Advance ROTC Cadet Officers, officially graduated and received their certificates of completion. Several graduates were also recognized with special awards for their exemplary performance and outstanding service during the training period.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Guest of Honor and Speaker, PCPT Harris D Hemor, Acting Chief of Police of Alabat, for delivering an inspiring message that challenged the graduates to continue serving with honor, integrity, and patriotism. Before concluding, he shared several meaningful bible verses, anchoring his message on Philippians 4:13 : “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” reminding the cadets to remain faithful, courageous, and determined in the face of future challenges.

The success of this memorable occasion was further highlighted by the invaluable presence and support of our distinguished guests: COL NORLEO G ADDULAM OS (GSC) PA, Director of the 404th CDC; TSg Antonio M Ronquillo (Inf) PA; SSg Julito T Salcedo (CE) PA; Sgt James Nichol D Ungriano PA (Res); and Dr. Lyn Vargas-Tapan, the SLSU-Alabat Campus Director and NSTP Coordinator.

Additionally, the SLSU–Alabat ROTC Unit expresses its deepest appreciation to the Municipal Mayor of Alabat, Hon. Eizelle 'Ays' Avellano-Canimo, whose visit and support made the celebration even more meaningful for the graduating unit.
