The CSS and CRIM Team held their Team Building Activity entitled โ€œLeading Beyond Limits: Year End Leadership Team Building Activity 2026โ€ at Maria Mercedes Convention last June 9, 2026. The gathering was attended by the team officers together with their advisers, Ms. Gerlen P. Caรฑonero, Dr. Frensie D. Balawag, Ph.D., and Mrs. Dina D. Lariosa.

The gathering brought everyone together for meaningful connection and relaxation. The team enjoyed shared fun and get-together moments through engaging team-building activities that strengthened cooperation and unity. A heartfelt segment followed โ€” the โ€œWhat You Are Grateful For?โ€ sharing portion. Members openly expressed their appreciation for lessons learned, support received, and milestones achieved throughout the year.

The activity concluded on a warm, positive note, leaving everyone refreshed, motivated, and ready for the next chapter. As the journey shall continue with the officersโ€™ compassion in leadership and excellence for the next Academic Year.

PART II: 12th Internsโ€™ Graduation of Class 12-2026 Alab-Kalisโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Aklan State University (ASU) โ€“ New Washington Campus College of Criminal Justice Education marked a significant milestone, hosting the 12th Internsโ€™ Graduation Ceremonies on May 27, 2026, from at the campus Athletic Field. Organized by the College of Criminal Justice Education , the event brought together students, faculty, officials, families, and guests to recognize the successful completion of the internship program by Bachelor of Science in Criminology interns. Under the inspiring theme: โ€œTomorrow's Leaders Begin Here: Duty as our Compass, Honor as our Bond, Justice as Our Cause, Community as our Mission, and Excellence as our Standardโ€.

The program opened with the Arrival of Honors, led by third-year Criminology students. Dr. Frensie D. Balawag, Chairperson of the Criminology Program and Intern Director, delivered the welcome remarks; emphasizing that the internship experience was not just a requirement but a vital step in shaping them into competent future law enforcers. Messages of inspiration and support were shared by Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, SUC President III, and Prof. Francis I. Renacido, Campus Director. They reminded the interns that their education and training at ASU serve as a strong foundation for their future roles in maintaining peace, order, and justice.

The highlight of the program was the message from the Guest Speaker, PCOL Arnel E Ramos, Provincial Director of the Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO). In his address, he encouraged the interns to embrace their responsibilities with courage and compassion, noting that true leadership in the field of criminal justice requires both competence and character.

Representing the graduating interns, CI/COL. Pol Andrei R. Teodosio, Intern Chief of Class ALAB-KALIS, gave the response speech. He expressed gratitude to the university, instructors, parents, and mentors for their unwavering guidance and support. He pledged that his batch would carry the lessons and values learned from ASU into their future careers, serving as responsible and dedicated professionals.

After which, a stirring โ€œPass in Reviewโ€ followed, where all Criminology interns marched in formation, showcasing discipline, unity, and the pride of their training. The ceremony proceeded with the Awarding of Certificates and Special Awards, recognizing outstanding performance, leadership, and service among the interns, as well as honoring parents and guardians for their invaluable role in their childrenโ€™s journey.

Ms. Gerlen P. Caรฑonero, Deputy Director for Operations, delivered the closing remarks, congratulating the graduates and urging them to continue striving for excellence in every endeavor. Followed by a touching โ€œTribute to Parentsโ€, as a heartfelt thank-you to the families who stood by them through every step of their education and training.

The 12th Internsโ€™ Graduation stands as a testament to Aklan State Universityโ€™s enduring mission: to mold tomorrowโ€™s leaders, ready to serve with duty, honor, justice, community spirit, and excellence. As these young professionals step forward, they carry with them the knowledge, values, and commitment to make a meaningful impact to the people they will serve.

Congratulations, Class 12-2026 Alab-Kalis!๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ
